And in the very heart of the Wachau, namely in Spitz an der Donau, is the "Haus zum Prater". This was built on the foundations of a more than 500 year old mill in the Mieslingtal at the Mieslingbach. In 1880 a reconstruction took place and the same the restaurant "zum Prater" was built. This house has been renovated by us in 2017 faithfully to the original and are thus again 6 holiday apartments with different sizes (17-30m2) available for short-term or year-round rental. The space The first time you drive towards the Wachau from the west you will see the monastery of Melk and the city of Krems from the east. Between Melk and Krems lies the Wachau, a 38km long Danube Breakthrough Valley, one of the most beautiful cultural and natural landscapes in Europe. The house is wonderfully quiet about 1km from the center of Spitz on the quietly flowing Mieslingbach. Forest areas and vineyards are the immediate vicinity. All apartments have their own shower and wc. Common areas and spacious open spaces in the garden and yard complement the offer.
