The space Our very cozy thatched-roof house with high recreational value in the middle of nature is secluded and yet only 20 minutes by car from the city limits of Hamburg. Trendy districts such as Eimsbüttel and Ottensen can be reached in 30 minutes, the inland Alster and the HafenCity in 40 minutes by car. The Elbe with its endless bike paths is 10 minutes away, the North Sea at Büsum can be reached in a good 1 hour, about a quarter of an hour longer you need to the "largest sandpit in the world", St.Peter-Ording. In the morning, our guests are awakened by the neighboring cows or the rooster. Sometimes a pheasant or a deer dares to enter the extensive property. The house stands on an almost 1 hectare plot in the middle of wide meadows. The ducks frolic on our pond in spring. The approx. 110 square meter apartment "Remise" with Swedish Bullerjahn stove offers an endless view to the west over our pond and the wide fields. In the approx. 90 m² main room you will find the elaborately handmade kitchen bar, the dining table and a large couch 6 beds spread over a niche and a gallery. In the alcove there is a king size double bed and on the gallery there are 2 double bed mattresses on the floor. Attention: The gallery can only be reached via a very steep wooden staircase. We provide bed linen and towels for your stay. In harmony with nature: We love our beautiful garden and the diverse floral splendor that it gives us throughout the year. Our own apples, raspberries or rhubarb and mirabelles are our pride (you can snack!), but we also let the garden be natural and offer insects and other animals a habitat. In the outdoor area shared with the other two apartments, there is a tree house for children with a slide and fire pole, cable car, trampoline and swing (use of all play equipment at your own risk!). The property is almost 1 hectare and there is even a small forest. Other things to note And another note: You will sleep in an 18th century house. century. It will never be clinically clean and in the partially wild garden there are, as everywhere in nature, insects that can also get into the house. Of course, we will do our utmost to ensure that you will not notice these things.
