Antiche Mura is an old house in the medieval historic center of Turi overlooking a square known as the "piazza delle femmine", 100 steps from the Marchesale Palace. The same square was first occupied by a Hospital built in the 1800s thanks to funds allocated by a benefactor as early as the 16th century. After about a century, the hospital was closed and demolished around the 1950s. Turi is a quiet town in the Bari hinterland famous for its production and export throughout the World of its "Ferrovie" Ciliegie and, generally, for its precious food and wine traditions.
