Creek-front cabin on wooded acres

Big Timber Creek Cabin is a creek-front log cabin that sits on multiple wooded acres with views, a fire pit, and trails to walk or hike. The covered front porch enjoys mountain views, offers a gas grill, and has dining and living areas, and is equipped with an HDTV. The main level features an open eat-in kitchen which was completely renovated with stainless appliances, custom cabinets, and live-edge wood countertops. The space A round dining table seats up to 8 guests, with the adjacent bar stools. The great room has vaulted tongue-and-groove ceilings with exposed beams, wood floors, new furniture, a stone, wood-burning fireplace, and a large HD Smart TV. The king master bedroom is on the main level and has a recently renovated, upscale, full bathroom, which is also accessible from the kitchen area. Upstairs there are two more queen bedrooms, a small loft with an arcade machine, and a full bathroom, also recently renovated. All three bedrooms have HDTVs. There is a washer and dryer on the main level, a hot tub outside, and more. Big Timber Creek Cabin provides private guest access to the Watauga River. Less than a mile from the cabin, a short drive away, our guests have private access to a large, 6-acre riverfront meadow with hundreds of feet of river frontage! Bring your fishing poles, picnic baskets, rafts, tubes, kayaks, and canoes! Fish or float the river, and have a family picnic on the river banks. A unique amenity for guests of Little Timber and Big Timber Creek Cabins only! The Timber Creek Cabins are centrally located in Valle Crucis, just a few miles from the Original Mast General Store and the Valle Crucis Park. Boone and Banner Elk are both less than 10 miles away, and Blowing Rock is about 13 miles away. As you cross over the small bridge onto the Timber Creek acreage, stay straight and to the right (pass the driveway to neighboring Little Timber Cabin, which sits to the left of Big Timber). Big Timber has a fire pit down by the creek. Little Timber likewise has a fire pit, but it is closer to the little cabin. Guest access Guests have full access to the entire private home, decks, and all amenities during their stay. Other things to note Must be at least 25 years of age to book. Big Timber Creek Cabin and neighboring Little Timber Creek Cabin can be booked together if they are both available, totaling 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, with sleeping areas for a total of 10 guests. As both cabins can be rented individually, they would both have to be available for your desired dates, but we welcome groups of up to 10 guests at Timber Creek, as long as both cabins are reserved together.
