Siena, San Gimignano, Florence and Arezzo can all be reached on day trips. Gaiole, with its restaurants, small shops and a supermarket, is just a short drive away. The nearby hamlet of Barbischio, home to the excellent Il Papavero restaurant, is just five minutes by car or a pleasant 30-minute walk. Capanna di Camporata is set in a quiet, rural setting. The well-kept garden includes a covered dining terrace, an additional furnished patio and a daybed with mosquito net hanging between the trees , offering the perfect spot to unwind.
