Nestled on 1.5 acres of trees and a creek lined property. This retreat is a peaceful get away with wineries, tubing, kayaks, canoes and ATV rides all just minutes away. Perfect for groups of all kinds. Birthdays, bachelor/ bachelorette gatherings, family reunions, corporate retreats, and an overall great place to experience Dahlonega. The space Thank you for your interest in The Gold Mine Cabin! WEEKEND RESERVATIONS: Three night MINIMUM is required on all weekends. Friday and Saturday MUST be booked together. We have this rule due to the fact that it makes the other weekend night almost impossible to book if it is split up. You will enjoy the entire cabin home with thoughtfully designed rooms and living space. The first floor of the home boasts a open concept dining room, kitchen and living room with a queen sleeper sofa. And a bathroom with a stand up shower. And two bedrooms both with a king bed. The washer and dryer is also on the first level. The second level loft boasts of three twin XL beds with a large en-suite bathroom with a bathtub. There is a spacious front mud room area with rocking chairs and a back porch overlooking the fire pit and creek. (Guests will need to provide their own fire wood). Bright and warm tones flow throughout the cabin. The Gold Mine is located just a 3 minute drive to Wolf Mountain Winery. This home is newly furnished with your comfort in mind and our goal is to make you feel right at home. We hire cleaners that not only work hard, but are family and friends of ours. They treat the property as their own and we pay them well, resulting in a slightly higher cleaning fee. It goes back to them, not some major company paying their workers minimum wage. If during your stay, anything isn’t up to your standard please let us know and we will address it immediately! COMMUNITY FEE: A 5%community fee will automatically be added to your booking for required city hotel occupancy tax. And you will see this reflected in your reservation request. HELPFUL NOTES: Come see everything nature has to offer, and know too that wildlife is a part of the country way of life. You will likely see more than the city slickers do! The cabin is located in an area where you truly experience the American county at its most natural and finest. We share this environment with the wilderness and so you can see insects & wildlife that help keep a natural habitat. Guest access KEYLESS ENTRY: Prior to your arrival, you will receive a unique keypad code that will serve as your keyless entry to the cabin during your stay. Other things to note We have worked very hard to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Please respect, care and be mindful of the surrounding neighbors so that guests can continue to enjoy the condo for many years to come. Our properties typically book every night and 100% of weekends. If you think you may need early check in or late check out please consider adding a night to the beginning or conclusion of your trip.
