BayVista, the Bayerwald Lodge. Ten modern, comfortable holiday apartments with a panoramic terrace, lounge, fitness room and wellness area with Finnish sauna and infrared cabin. Large garden with plenty of space to chill, play, grill... You live in a 42 sqm 2-room apartment with a private terrace, mountain view and private shower room. In the living/dining room there is a chic IKEA pull-out sofa bed and a dining table for four. Your own corner kitchen with dishwasher makes you independent. The space BayVista, the Bavarian Forest Lodge, is located in Lamer Winkel in the Frahels district on the south slope with a fantastic view of the mountains. In 2020, ten modernly furnished holiday apartments, beautiful terraces, and our book and games bar with board games, eSports, and a small library were built. The offerings are complemented by a fitness room and a spacious wellness area with a Finnish sauna and infrared cabin. For hikers, skiers, and bikers, a drying room is available – there you can hang up wet clothes, clean dirty items, and wash and dry laundry (shared washer-dryer). A lockable bike port is available for bicycles. The spacious south-facing property offers a fantastic view and plenty of space for relaxing, playing games, and grilling (Weber kettle grills are available for use). Smart TVs are installed in all living rooms and bedrooms, and free Wi-Fi is available throughout the house. Guest access The BayVista Lodge is quietly located in the small village of Frahels in Lamer Winkel. The house has its own parking space, which can be used free of charge. The Frahelsbruck train station is approximately 1,000 meters away. The house has two floors, which can be accessed from the outside via separate entrances. The main town of Lam is 1.5 kilometers away, where you'll find restaurants, shops, and an ice cream parlor. The year-round water park with large water slides, swimming pools, saunas, and a steam bath is 1,000 meters away. Other things to note Lamer Winkel in the Bavarian Forest Your holiday region between Osser, Arber and Kaitersberg in the Bavarian Forest Almost endless forests, crystal clear streams and air that is still worth breathing in. Embedded in a horseshoe-shaped mountain range - framed by most of the 1,000-meter peaks in the Bavarian Forest - that is Lamer Winkel with its three villages: Arrach, Lam and Lohberg. This landscape with its unspoiled nature is best explored by the visitor on foot or by (e-) bike. If you are looking for history and culture, you can hike the former Iron Curtain over to Bohemia on the Künischer Grenzweg and discover winding smugglers' trails. On the one hand, scenic gems such as the Große Arbersee, Kleiner Arbersee, Teufelssee and Schwarzer See, the original remote farms of the forest farmers, the proximity to the Bavarian Forest and Bohemian Forest National Parks, as well as a wide range of gastronomy make this natural holiday region incomparable.
