The space Camp Van Winkle is ideally located in the charming town of Tannersville, NY only two hours north of NYC. Vail's Hunter Mountain Ski resort & The Painted Village in the Sky are a short 5 minute drive from the Chalet! There’s potential adventure at every turn. One of our favorite walks is Huckleberry Trail! The old rail trail (walking distance from the chalet) follows a lovely babbling brook & leads you to Van Winkle Park. You will find a small lake for swimming and boating, pickle ball courts, skate park, disc golf course, the wonderful Boat House Restaurant. Perfect place for a romantic picnic or to take the kids! The Chalet is well appointed with everything you need for a memorable and comfortable stay. This is the perfect space for a family or 3 couples/friends to enjoy. We cover all Airbnb Service Fees. THE HOUSE VIBE The fireplace is the heart of the chalet & keeps everyone warm on chilly evenings! Firewood included! Enjoy the 60 inch Samsung Art TV, plenty of games, giant chess set and an old fashioned DVD for the kids in the twin bedroom. Each bedroom is a comfy, dreamy escape featuring luxury bedding, down duvets, extra pillows & blankets, black-out shades, in-room temperature control and personal fans. The master suite features a queen sized bed, the Yellow Room features a full sized bed and the Red Room features a queen. DOGS: We absolutely love dogs and welcome them at Camp Van Winkle. We only ask you keep them off the beds and furniture. If your dog is not completely potty trained, please be aware we charge an additional $500 for deep cleaning services if required because of puppy accidents. The house is throughly checked after pet stays. No Cats-unfortunately we have a family member who is allergic. HOT TUB: The hot tub is cleaned just for you before your arrival!!
