And with our place, you get three rooms plus a ton more amenities! The space This 3,200 square foot home is our home away from home. On days where we are in Chicago, we would love for you to stay at our place and enjoy all that Turkey Run has to offer! Outdoor pool available at the Turkey Run State Park. Horse back riding available there as well. We provide a fire ring for evening roasts, a BBQ grill (please bring your own charcoal) and propane gas grill (new in 2026), a few bikes for the kids and a backyard zipline. Multiple outdoor folding chairs are located on the side porch or in the garage (just please bring back when finished with them if bringing out to the fire ring). Bad weather won't dampen your vacation as The Barn has a huge 1,300 sq foot great room with games in the game cabinet, pool table, and 75" Smart TV with Disney+, DVD player and movies to enjoy. Upper and lower bedrooms have 55" Smart TV with Roku (new in 2026). Internet has just been upgraded to Starlink new for 2026 as well. Guest access You will have access to 13 acres of woods, ravines and wilderness. Nature abounds! We have seen flocks of turkey and 12 point bucks right in our back yard! Or just relax and unplug in our beautiful new home. Upon arrival, a code or key will be provided to get in. Other things to note This is our family home and would hope guests would treat it as such. As a family of six, vacation accommodations have been challenging in the past for us, so we appreciate being able to host larger families at our home. While visitors are welcome, no additional guests may stay the night without express permission prior to arrival. We hope everyone will maintain a family friendly environment while staying in our home. We also try to accommodate early check-in/late check-outs whenever possible. However, it's a big place and takes the full four hours to clean and sanitize everything in between guests. So we do ask for punctuality on check in/check out times if there are guests leaving the day you come in, or checking in the day you depart.
