The Bird House near Fall Creek Falls State Park

This is a 1080 sq ft, 2 bedroom / 2 bath pet friendly (see details below for pets) house with a gas grill, fully equipped kitchen, fully stocked beverage station that host a coffee pot and Keurig, snacks, laundry with detergent, and a fire pit. Smart TV, WiFi, books, and board games. Fur babies are welcome, though please read through all the rules regarding pets. Please note there is a pet fee. Special note: the house will be decorated for the holiday season! The space We are minutes from two great hiking areas: Savage Gulf Natural Area and Fall Creek Falls State Park, plus we are close to the Cumberland Caverns if you fancy checking out some caves. Within an hour is also the Stone Door, great for hiking and repelling. Fall Creek Falls also offers canoe rental for $5 an hour and zip lining. The property is private and very quiet, situated on 6 wooded acres. There are two Queen beds and a fold away cot. Two bathrooms and a laundry room. Both bathrooms include shampoo, conditioner, and soap, so if you forgot something, we have several amenities available at no extra charge. Coffee and teas are complimentary during your stay. There is also high speed Wifi and Apple TV for your pleasure. Also, three miles from the house is a well stocked dollar general and gasoline, so you won't have far to travel for your needs. During the summer, you'll pass a local Mennonite community on your way to and from Fall Creek Falls State Park. Here you'll find wonderful produce, jams, breads, fresh eggs, and local honey. We like to make your stay special. If anyone in your group is having a birthday, please let us know as we will hang a banner prior to your arrival. There is a lidded can for proper disposal of cigarette and cigar butts on the deck. This 6 acre property consists of 2 houses, a main house and a guest house. The guest house is the bird house. There is one dogs that live on the property, but it does not run free. REGARDING FUR BABIES: 1)If you have a pet, the area is great for walking your pets. TN does have a leash law and we also do have a lot of wildlife so pets do need to be on a leash for their safety. Even our dog does not run free. 2) Also, due to allergens of future guests, there is a pet fee to cover the extra cleaning that must be done. Let's face it, all dogs are not created equal. Pet fees range from $35 - $100, depending on breed and size as some breeds shed more than others. And lets be honest, a 5 lbs dog is a lot less to clean up after than an 85 lbs dog. This a one time fee and not a per pet fee and is based on the total weight of all dogs. So please inquire with weight and breed info about your fur babies. There is a lot of extra cleaning that has to be done to prepare for the next guests after a pet stays. 3) Please also understand that pets must not be left alone in the Bird House. If you must leave them behind, please travel with a crate for them to stay in. Even the most well behaved fur babies have anxiety when left alone in a strange place. 4) Once your pet fee has been determined, an alteration request will be sent to you adding the pet fee onto your reservation. Once this is accepted, you'll be all set to travel with your fur baby.
