At center stage in the living room are large circular windows that once graced the towering heights of the NC State King Center and were rescued by the home's designer just as it was being demolished. The home itself is planted in the midst of what is essentially a botanical garden, with meandering stone pathways, and is set behind a historic 1920s home (Listed on the National Register of Historic Places) in the Historic Bloomsbury district of Raleigh Five points, where it's current owners and caretakers live. Features, not one, but two winding staircases and a beautiful custom handrail to match. Put the finishing touches on your work project in the office built from reclaimed wood. Or, gaze out at the stars on a cool fall night through the skylights as you lay on the king size bed in the master bedroom. This is not your standard, run of the mill (no pun intended) short term rental. This is an opportunity to stay in one of the coolest homes in Raleigh. Guests may use the backyard firepit area. There is no greenhouse access for guests.
