Welcome to Le Grand Zen, our magnificent fully equipped chalet, by Lake Raymond in Saint-Côme. It is the ideal place to spend a superb holiday in nature, close to activities for the whole family! Nothing better to relax in nature, than to enjoy: ✶ A magnificent view on the shores of Lac Raymond ✶ Our location close to services ✶ 2 Paddle boards, 2 Kayaks & 4-seater pedal boat ✶ Indoor wood-burning fireplace ✶ Outdoor fireplace ✶ Private spa open 4 seasons The space Our single-storey accommodation will suit the whole family: ✦ The chalet has 3 private bedrooms, two having a queen bed, and the third contains two queen bunk beds. Each bedroom has a wardrobe. ✦ The kitchen is fully equipped to allow you to cook during your stay. You will have on hand crockery, utensils, knives, baking dishes, pots, pans, etc. so that you do not miss anything. In addition, the kitchen is equipped with the full range of appliances, a fondue pot and an electric filter coffee maker. Some food essentials are provided as well, such as ground coffee, tea, cooking oil, spices, salt and pepper, and aluminium paper, plastic wrap, etc. ✦ The living area is open with its high ceilings and gives a view of the lake. There is the dining table with 8 chairs, the wood fireplace for a warm atmosphere, as well as the living room. This one offers a smart TV, a Bluetooth soundbar and a DVD player. ✦ Adjacent to the living room is a veranda where you can eat while being protected from mosquitoes! On the adjacent terrace is the propane BBQ and the spa, open year round! ✦ The large yard offers a picnic table, an outdoor fireplace with chairs and a large dock leading to the lake. You will have access to a 4-seater pedal boat, two paddle boards, two single kayaks and life jackets during your stay! ✦ Finally, the house has a powder room, a full bathroom with shower, and a laundry room with washer-dryer. Guest access ✦ You will have access to the entire chalet and its outdoor spaces in complete privacy, except for a locked cupboard and the garage, which are not accessible. ✦ By booking with us, you will receive a Guest Manual giving you all the important information to know about the chalet, in addition to the addresses of relevant activities and shops nearby! Other things to note - Dog Friendly Rules: We accept a maximum of 1 dog under strict conditions and only with our permission. We are animal lovers but have had bad experiences in the past with owners who did not respect our property, thank you for your understanding. ๏ Additional fees: $100 per stay per dog. ๏ Guests must have at least 1 positive review from a previous experience on Airbnb. ๏ We do not accept young dogs under 1 year old. ๏ Your dog must not exceed 40 lbs. ๏ The cottage must be left clean and in order to facilitate the work of the housekeeping team, it must not appear that a dog was present. ๏ Your dog must be "housebroken", and must under no circumstances gain access to bedrooms or climb on furniture. ๏ Your dog must not cause a noise nuisance for neighbors. ๏ Guests must pick up after the dog at all times and keep the yard clean. Thank you for your understanding :-) *DOCK* The quay leading to the water is quite damaged. We recommend walking on it with appropriate shoes and exercising caution. Running on the quay is prohibited, and we advise accompanying children while they are on it. *TV* We have a smart TV in the unit but do not offer cable channels. There is a DVD player available, and you can access your Netflix account directly on the television. *BARBECUE* Due to cold weather during the winter months, our barbecue will be temporarily unavailable between November and April. *FIREPLACE / LOGS* There is an indoor wood-burning fireplace and an outdoor fireplace available to you. I provide about fifteen logs per stay, if you want more you can buy them near the chalet, the addresses will be in your guest manual. *BOATS* The city of Saint-Côme does not allow access to the lake with your own boats. We have two paddleboards at your disposal that you can use. Thank you for your understanding. Boats are not available during the winter season from October 15th to May 1st.
