Here you will find drawers for storing your items and a closet rod for hanging clothes. There's a lighted make up mirror, hairdryer, and some space for your own items. On the upper shelves you will find the complete linen sets for either the pull out queen sofa or twin ottoman as well as extra pillows and pillowcases. You will also find a laundry bag with supplies, and an ironing board and iron, although I hope you don't need to use these on your visit :) In the bunk alcove, each bunk has its own reading light and outlet with USB chargers. For daytime nappers or early bedtimes, there are blackout curtains that will help to make this a cozy space. There is a remote control with an auto shutoff timer that controls the fairy lights. In the living room, you will find a comfy sofa (sleeps two, or possibly three littles along the long side) and leather ottoman (sleeps one) that both fold out to beds. I wouldn't suggest trying to use both at the same time because it would be very tight. There are a couple of stools tucked under the tv if you need additional seating. You will find games, DVDs, and a few of my favorite Galveston books in the cabinet. We have provided two Tommy Bahama beach chairs and a large beach umbrella, as well as a large beach sheet, beach towels, and beach bucket with toys. There is also a large wagon and cooler bag for your use. No need to go shopping for these things - it’s all here for you to use! In the adjoining kitchen, you will find a dining table with seating for four and a full sized fridge/ freezer with a filtered ice maker and a Brita pitcher for filtered water, dishwasher, stovetop, and countertop over/air fryer. We have stocked it with lots of what you may need for cooking, including pots and pans, some basic cooking spices, and everything that you will need for making great coffee! For the bathroom, we provide quality soap, shampoo, and conditioner, and, of course, TP for your entire stay. I don't believe in "starter supplies" - who wants to go shopping for basic needs when you're vacationing?! I will also have a first-aid kit and will try to keep stocked up on some extras (the things commonly forgotten by husbands and kids) in the bathroom cabinet but Walmart is across the street just in case. Guest access Our home is your home. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do. If something breaks or is damaged while you're here, or if something isn't working properly, please let me know so that I can take care of it either during your stay or before the next guests check in. Other things to note You will need to check in at the front desk on arrival. There is a resort fee that I have no control over and it is payable by credit card to the front office. For stays and cruise parking of 1 to 7 nights, it is $40. For stays and cruise parking of 8 or more nights, the fee is $80. ***If you are not bringing a car, please let me know! ***This is a one-time only per stay charge, not per day, not per person. This fee will provide you with parking passes for up to two vehicles and wristbands for everyone in your group for access to pools, hottubs, and gym. These bands help our security officers keep our grounds secure and only for the use of owners and our guests. Cruise parking - You are welcome to leave your vehicle parked here during your cruise at no extra charge other than the resort fee. Absolutely no smoking or vaping indoors or on the balcony at any time - because of my son's severe allergies, I would have to pay for a deep cleaning and charge you a minimum of $300 to cover this. No pets allowed except registered service animals - please inform me of this at the time of booking. We are on the third floor where you will find the best view of the pool and the Gulf. We have several elevators and a staircase very close to our condo. The salt air is restorative for the soul but tough on buildings. Our property manager does a great job tending to things and occasionally there will be maintenance going on on-site. Sometimes amenities like the hot tub or pool will be temporarily unavailable while cleaning or maintenance is being completed. We have two pools and two hot tubs so if maintenance is needed, they always try to keep one of each open at all times. There are occasional power and internet outages on the island. These occurrences are rare and out of our control and refunds cannot be given, except for extreme situations. If you have a problem during your stay, please reach out to me No weather-related refunds will be given unless a mandatory evacuation is issued for the island.
