The Space:

Positioned on the edge of the Rockies this beautiful Victorian speaks to the heart of Colorado. Only minutes away from downtown, the space has been set up for relaxation and convenience. Newly remodeled, the inside of the home features clean and open-air architecture. Its dark wood floors are mixed with local decor creating an ambiance that that makes it both cozy and modern.

On top of being newly remodeled the home features a fully stocked kitchen, a cozy living room, bedroom with a working vintage record player, and a shared backyard with an 8 person hot-tub and grilling facilities.

BACKYARD:

The outdoor space is shared with the main house, which we also rent via Airbnb. Sporting a 5-burner propane grill, seating area with fire pit, and a brand new 8-person hot tub, the yard is the perfect place to relax and enjoy Colorado's beautiful weather.

Enjoy cold beers while playing a round of cornhole in our gem of a backyard. When you’ve finished dinner using the 5-burner propane grill move on to a night under the stars in our brand new 8 - person hot tub. The yard is an ideal place to relax and enjoy Colorado’s beautiful and ever changing weather.

BEDROOM:

The bedroom has a relaxing feel with a style that mixes vintage and modern. The queen sized mattress is like sleeping on a cloud and is incredibly comfortable. Catch up on emails from the high-tech sit/stand electronic desk with a wireless phone charger built in.

LIVING ROOM:

Enjoy the 55” 4k Roku Smart TV with built-in Wi-Fi so you can pick up streaming your favorite shows where you left off at home! There is also a queen-sized pull out sofa with a comfortable memory foam mattress for additional guests.

KITCHEN:

Fully loaded and ready for cooking, the kitchen has everything you need from pizza cutters to cooking oils and spices. Enjoy fresh coffee every morning from our Keurig stocked with coffee pods and creamer in the fridge!

BATHROOM:

The full bathroom is equipped with all standard toiletries and features a hairdryer, makeup removal wipes, and even emergency feminie products.

LAUNDRY:

Catch up on laundry or wash those clothes after a beautiful hike nearby! There is a stacked washer/ dryer unit in the kitchen behind the bi-fold doors.

AC:

There are two oversized window AC units so that you can control the temperature how you'd like in the summer. The powerful units cool the entire guesthouse! The cottage also has a central heating system for those chilly winter nights.

We are legally registered with the City! STR-0160. Rest assured that your booking won't be canceled at the last minute before your stay!

COVID19: Traveling now is more stressful than ever, and we understand. We provide a professional quality cleaning and focus on disinfection and sanitation. We can assure you that all touch points such as door knobs, light switches, and tv remotes receive extra sanitization. We firmly believe that our home is much safer than a hotel where there is frequent contact with numerous guests. Rest easy and enjoy your vacation knowing you are doing it as safely as possible. Guest Access:

Enjoy full access to the guesthouse and everything in it. Make yourself at home with full use of the kitchen and laundry room. The backyard is shared with the main house, which is available to rent via Airbnb should you need more room for friends or family. We will happily offer a discount to guests who would like to book both houses.

The Neighborhood:

Our guest house is close to numerous restaurants, coffee shops, and iconic tourist destinations. Located between commercial downtown businesses and the local neighborhood, we are about as close as you can get to downtown with free parking.

Since we are so close and walking distance to downtown, there are occasionally transients nearby. Our home is safe, fully-fenced, and we've never had any issues with trespassing. However, if you are from the suburbs and used to never seeing those in need, our home might not be the best fit for you. Like most downtown cities, there are sometimes homeless people in the area.

Getting Around:

Conveniently walk to great places to eat, drink, shop, and hangout. Odyssey Gastropub is incredible and has a little bit of everything, T-Byrd's and Dos Santos have amazing Mexican food, Bingo Burger and The Skirted Heifer for great burgers or you can relax with a beer at Phantom Canyon or Mash Mechanix (our favorite breweries).

Other Things to Note:

We are legally registered with the City of Colorado Springs! Don't worry about your booking getting cancelled the day before your trip!

***We frequently drain and refill our hot tub so that it is clean and sanitary for all of our guests! Our water comes from the Rocky Mountains at crazy cold temperatures in the winter - sometimes as low as 48°. Our hot tub heats at about 6° per hour which puts the hot tub heated to 102° later in the evening when it has been drained and refilled earlier in the day. You may see the temperature in the 60s or 70s when you arrive but rest assured it is heating as fast as possible and will be ready for enjoyment later in the evening.

Interaction with Guests:

Michael and Kim live just down the street! We are here for you during your stay, but our level of interaction is totally up to you. You will be able to self-check-in with your unique code that we will message you on the morning of your arrival. We are always just a message away, and between both of us and our amazing cleaners, you're sure to get a rapid response.
