The house sits on 3 acres of rolling green grassland which turns a shimmering golden brown in the summer months. Enjoy downtown with many unique restaurants, charming shops, movie theaters , and the Petaluma River. Sonoma County has many award winning wineries, stunning countryside & coastline views. Our home is large (3,000 sq ft), recently renovated and extremely comfortable. The views are spectacular. The master bedroom has a king bed and a bathroom ensuite There are 2 other bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with a double bed. There is a large dedicated office/getaway space. There is a queen size air mattress available should you want to bring in 2 additional guests. There is a family room with a large TV (75"). There is a separate living room to enjoy. Both have lovely fireplaces. The kitchen is open with stools at the counter plus a breakfast nook table that seats 4. There is a separate dining room that seats 8. The deck has a sofa and chairs facing the lovely view. Guests will have access to entire home except the garage, a storage room off the garage, and the master bedroom closet. There is an available closet in the hallway just outside the master bedroom. Each of the remaining 2 bedrooms have large closets. We are available any time via call or text. The house sits up on a hill at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. It has a country feel yet sits within the town of Petaluma. The historic city center is only 1.5 miles from our house, an easy walk for us or a short drive if you prefer. The town has many restaurants, shops, wine tasting and more! Enjoy downtown with many unique restaurants and charming shops, a performing arts venue, movie theaters and several waterside points of interest along the Petaluma River. Sonoma County is home to award winning wineries, stunning countryside and breathtaking coastline, Its location in Sonoma County puts it within easy reach of many wineries as well as those in Napa County. It is only 25 miles to the ocean with multiple beach options. There is a world class city, San Francisco, only 38 miles to the south. Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada Mountains are 3.5 hours away by car and Yosemite Park is 4 hours away. There are many regional parks close to our home for outdoor activities including hiking.
