Welcome to the RIVERS’ EDGE - 5 Private Acres on the River. A Very Private, peaceful and serene place on 300 feet of South Fork of the Kaweah River. If you are looking to get away from “You Name It” you have found the perfect place. This heavenly retreat is only 6 miles from the heart of town, or Kaweah Lake, 12 miles from the gates of Sequoia National Park. The perfect escape to recharge for your next adventure. Escape here at The RIVERS’ EDGE. The space RIVERS EDGE: 5 Acres of ULTIMATE PRIVACY: These 4 bedrooms 3-bathroom house with a hot tub that sits on 5 Acres with 300 feet of RIVER. It has everything you need to have fun and escape from hectic everyday life. Each of the 4 bedrooms have a king size rattan bed, and all 3 bathrooms have a shower/tub combination. One of the bedrooms is an upstairs loft with stunning views of the river and surrounding mountains. The living room has a wood burning fireplace surrounding with sofas in a cozy nest with TV with our newly added massage chair. The Queen-sized Murphy bed in the living room is available for larger families. The dining room table seats 8 comfortably and there are 2 more seats at the kitchen bar or 4 in the breakfast nook. Our kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need to make a meal or BBQ your meal on the deck and dine overlooking the river at a table for 10. You have your own private river spot, just follow steps off the back deck down to the river. You are in the country now, watch for wildlife. A short fifteen-minute drive takes you to the town of Three Rivers where you can visit our local brewery, grab a brew at the coffee shop, enjoy a selection of local restaurants by the river, and stroll through the local boutiques and museum. We are in a great secluded neighborhood for biking. Bring your bikes. The Three Rivers community hosts multiple festivals and large events throughout the year and easy access to Sequoia National Park! Land of the Giant Sequoia Trees and home to the General Sherman Tree. Over 850 miles of hiking trails guarantee that your desire to be in with nature. Local lands such as the Forest Service and the Bureau of Land Management offer mountain bike or hiking trails just minutes from the house. Bring your bikes. There was no fire damage to Three Rivers. Lake Kaweah is a quick 10 minutes from the cabin. Lake Kaweah offers patio boat rentals, jet skiing, etc. You can also enjoy fishing, boating, hiking, kayaking, or just simply swimming in the river fed lake. Guest access Complete access to the entire place and 5-acre property with private river access on 300 feet of waterfront. Other things to note Please note that AT&T and Verizon are the only cell service providers that work in the town of Three Rivers. For the best possible experience, we provide beach towels for outdoor use. Inner tubes & floating devices are not included, bring your family's favorite! *Please note we do not offer refunds for weather conditions, park closures, fires, or Internet Service Provider issues, or changes in your itinerary. *We are welcome your dogs, no more than 2 total, $100 pet fee will be charged for each pet. No cats, sorry. *We can host 10 guests max. Children under the age of 2 are not to be included in the total guest count. If you have more than 10 guests on the property you will be asked to leave without a refund. We are serious about abiding by county regulations and infrastructure limitations. *No smoking of any kind allowed inside, $500+ fee will be charged if smoking odor is detected inside the home. Please be careful with fireplace. No fireworks at any time! Cleaning Protocol: - All surfaces are cleaned with bleach and/or disinfectant cleaner. - Housekeepers are provided with gloves, masks, and wash hands thoroughly before & after each cleaning. - Disinfect high-contact surfaces such as remotes, light switches, doorknobs, handles, etc. - All linens and towels have been professionally cleaned by linen services - We provide hand sanitizer, hand soap, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, surface spray and/or wipes for guests.
