Welcome to The House on The Coast of Bayfield, a family owned year-round cottage in the beautiful lakeside village of Bayfield, ON. The home is a 2,000 sq ft 4-bedroom / 2 bathroom cottage that is perfect for family reunions or group gatherings, with all amenities a short walk away. We invite you to stay in our little slice of paradise that we’ve grown to love and make memories that will last a lifetime! The space MAIN FLOOR The open concept main floor is a great entertaining space for family and friends. The spacious sun-filled living room overlooks the front porch. The room is equipped with a gas fireplace, 65” Smart TV and a relaxing lounge that opens up to a chef’s kitchen and dining area. The kitchen comes fully equipped with full-sized stainless-steel appliances including double-door fridge with freezer, oven, stove, dishwasher and range hood microwave. Enjoy home-cooked meals at the dining table, which can comfortably seat 8 people. Once evening rolls around, mix your favourite cocktails at the Coastal Bar Cart Station. All small appliances are at your fingertips including coffee machine, milk frother, coffee grinder, kettle, double toaster, blender, food processor and waffle maker. Don’t worry about packing cutlery, dishes or glassware as all are provided for up to 10 people. Cooking utensils, serving trays, as well as pots and pans are also provided. There is a full bathroom with a shower and plenty of storage and towels for your stay. BEDROOMS The house comfortably sleeps 8 people across four large bedrooms, with three located on the main floor, and one on the lower level. Bedrooms 1 & 2 each have a queen bed, large closet, dresser and luggage rack to hold all of your vacation gear. Bedroom 3 has a double bed, closet and luggage rack. Bedroom 4, has a queen bed, large dresser and luggage rack. Two queen air mattresses are also available at the house to accommodate extra guests. LOWER LEVEL The lower level is where you’ll spend most of your time. The open concept space is designed for entertaining and is great for all types of activities. The Deep Blue Sea Bar is where you’ll be able to pour drinks and share some laughs. Simply turn around and you’ll find the Cozy Lounge area where you can unwind on two leather couches, while watching your favourite movies on a 65” Smart TV. The action-packed Games Room includes a solid oak circular table, which can be used to play your favourite board games (all the classics are included) or hold a friendly poker tournament! This room also doubles as a private work-from-home space. The Laundry Room includes a full-size washer + dryer, and iron + ironing board (so you don’t have to over-pack) and has plenty of storage. There is a second full bathroom with a shower on this floor. BACKYARD PARADISE Enjoy the spacious outdoor deck overlooking the beautiful backyard sanctuary, which is just steps from the kitchen. Enjoy grilling on the natural gas BBQ (grilling utensils provided) and savour all of your favourite meals on the large outdoor patio table. The private fenced-in backyard has plenty of room for games, activities and relaxation all at the same time. During the day, get competitive and try out some of our outdoor lawn games (including bocce ball, spike ball, croquet and cornhole). At night, snuggle up by the large fire pit area while making s'mores and sharing stories. Be sure to hold a ping pong tournament with a full-sized ping pong table located in the garage. FRONT YARD Enjoy your morning coffee and a good book on the over-sized covered porch spanning the entire length of the home. With a roof over-head, the rain cannot stop an afternoon outdoor reading session. Large sized driveway which can accommodate ~4 cars. NEARBY AMENITIES Great location on a quiet street with walking distance to the beaches, parks, a grocery store, LCBO and the quaint historic Bayfield Main Street where you’ll find award winning restaurants, boutique shopping and art galleries showcasing local artists. If you’re a boater, you’re only a short drive to the Bayfield Pier where you can enjoy boating and fishing on beautiful Lake Huron. If you're a golfer, there are plenty of nearby golf courses to explore. If you're a hiker, there are great trails nearby to adventure through. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire cottage during their stay.
