a renovated stone house 8km from the seaside

A house, with a breathtaking view. It is mainly a cool summerhouse, as there is no central heating that would make it suitable for winter months. The top floor is a large dance studio and/or the main bedroom. The house is in the non touristic village of Melivoia, 400/500m above sea level and 8 km from one of the longest sea sides of Greece. Kissavos, the mountain, is also yours to discover! The space the house is like a castle! as long as you are inside you leave everything behind you, due to the "aeroplane" view, and the 80cm thick walls!! Do not expect luxury, but a rather artistic environment. 2- 6 people can stay comfortably. many more if necessary!!! The important is that they have to be in good terms with each other, as the house has basically 3 huge rooms! When in the house one can move on 3 levels. The middle floor is the main living space, with a sofa bed, an open -well equipped- kitchen and the main bathroom. The top floor, one main space without walls, is a bedroom, with a double bed and a living/working space together. At the garden level is the second bedroom with a separate door. This area is dark and cool, ideal for the hot summers of Greece. This part of the house makes use of the second bathroom/toilet, connected to the house, with it's door to the garden. Guest access There is access everywhere in the house! There is a fully equipped kitchen, and a small grill in the garden. There is, as well, our small- but good- collection of multilingual books, that you are welcome to use but please, not take away!! Other things to note There are great hiking routes, a beautiful waterfall 20 min from the house, and organized mountain trips nearby. There is post office, supermarket, butchery and pharmacy in the village. Very close to the house, there is a mini market and a gourmet restaurant. We encourage our guests to use the local shops as much as possible! The next small town AGIA, is in 8 km for banks, clothes, big supermarket e.c.t. By the seaside (also 8 km) there are many shops, cafes and restaurants. There is free WIFI in the village, but one has to be higher than our house. The square has very good access.
