The Moulin de la Garrigue gîte

The Moulin de la Garrigue gîte is a unique place, both for its timeless charm, its exceptional setting, its green setting, and the river that runs through the site. Miles of hiking trails surround the mill. The geographical location is ideal, located in the Périgord Noir, in Dordogne. Close to Lot and Corrèze, you can visit many sites such as the Gardens of Eyrignac, Sarlat-la-Caneda, the caves of Lascaux, Rocamadour, to name a few. The space The renovated and warm gîte is adjoining the mill where we live as a family, with our three young children. The entrances are quite distinct. The cottage is spacious, 200 m2, with 4 bedrooms upstairs, and one bedroom on the ground floor. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom with a sink, and a shower. The toilets are separated. The upstairs bedrooms are family suites with a double bed, and a mezzanine with two single beds. The living room opens onto the terrace, not overlooked. The cottage also has an equipped kitchen, adjoining a large dining room with fireplace. The stone-walled cottage has character. The exteriors are splendid with a wooded lot. Lovers of bucolic landscapes, fishing, or aquatic walks will appreciate the river that runs through the grounds. The pool, trampoline, and bowling alley will delight young and old alike. Other things to note We have a Swiss White Shepherd dog, and a cat. Silène, our dog is very sweet, used to children, and animals. Sorya is discreet, and cuddly. Your pets are welcome. The property is not fenced. The river is not deep, but the surroundings are not safe. The use of outdoor facilities and the swimming pool is the responsibility of a responsible adult. The cottage is non-smoking. Towels and bed linen are not included in the reservation. The beds are standard sizes and equipped with duvets. If you wish, we offer a rental package for 10 Euros per person to be paid on site.
