Rustic house with a privileged view over the Açude da Laranjeira, ideal for those seeking tranquility, privacy, and contact with nature. It features 2 small double bedrooms and 1 attic with 2 single beds (at an additional cost). Equipped kitchen (without washing machine and dishwasher), cozy living area, two bathrooms (only one with a shower on the lower floor), and a private pool tank for adults. Mini-market and café just 6 minutes away. A perfect retreat to relax. The space The house comfortably accommodates up to 4 guests. For an additional fee per person/night, the attic can be prepared with 2 single beds, allowing for up to 6 guests. On the upper floor, you will find the two bedrooms, a cozy living room, and a service bathroom (without a shower). . 'Beija' Bedroom – double bed (140x200) . 'Rio' Bedroom – double bed (140x200) . Living room with MEO television, DVD player, board games, and cards. On the lower floor, you reach the social area, with a kitchen and dining area. It features a wood-burning stove to keep warm on cold nights. Outside, you can enjoy alfresco dining, relax on the sun loungers, and take in the magnificent views over the Laranjeira weir. The private plunge pool is ideal for cooling off and enjoying the surrounding tranquility. Guest access 🌿 Comfort & House Guidelines for Your Stay at Beija Rio ⛔️ Furniture & Decoration Please do not move the furniture or decorative items. This helps keep the house exactly as it was prepared for the comfort of all guests. 💡 Outdoor Lights The three outdoor lights (front entrance and both sides of the house) are motion-activated, but they must first be switched on from inside the house. Before leaving, please make sure the switches are turned off; otherwise, the lights may continue to turn on whenever movement is detected. 🪵 Wood-Burning Stove The wood-burning stove heats the entire house. During winter, I provide a complimentary basket of firewood for your first night. Please do not use wood pellets, as they may block the air pipe and compromise safety. 🚪 Mosquito Screen Door Whenever you are outside, please keep the kitchen mosquito screen door closed to help prevent insects from entering the house. 🌿 Nature Beija Rio is surrounded by nature, overlooking the Açude da Laranjeira. Despite regular cleaning, it is normal to occasionally see small insects or other wildlife typical of a rural setting, especially during the warmer months. Thank you for your understanding and for respecting this natural environment, which is part of the beauty and authenticity of this place. 🛋️ Outdoor Sofa The outdoor modular sofa must not be moved. 🔑 Security For your safety, I recommend locking both the main entrance door and the kitchen door during the night and whenever you leave the house. ☕ Coffee Machine The coffee machine is a Dolce Gusto. 🦮 Pets Pets are welcome. I kindly ask that they are not left alone inside the house, do not use the bath towels, and are not allowed on the beds or sofas. Thank you for helping keep Beija Rio clean and in excellent condition for all guests. 💦 Plunge Pool The plunge pool measures 3 × 2 metres and is approximately 1.40 metres deep. It is perfect for cooling off and relaxing, but it is not suitable for swimming. 🌿 Safety Rules 📌 For registered guests only. 🚸 There is no lifeguard on duty. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. 🚫 Not allowed: 🤿 Diving. 🏃 Running. 🤸 Rough play. 🥤 Glassware or food in the plunge pool area. 🐶 Pets in the water. ⚠️ The surrounding surface may be slippery. Please take care when entering and leaving the plunge pool. 🧭 Explore the Area Beija Rio is the perfect starting point for hiking, cycling or simply enjoying the peace and quiet of nature. Other things to note 🌿 During your stay Please use water and electricity responsibly, helping to preserve natural resources. 👧 Children Due to the natural unevenness of the terrain and the proximity of the water tank, children must always be supervised by an adult. We also kindly ask that children do not remove or throw stones, helping to preserve this natural space. 🚪 Before departure Before check-out, we kindly ask that you: ✔️ Wash and put away all dishes. ✔️ Dispose of rubbish in the municipal waste container on the main street. ✔️ If you have used the barbecue, please leave the grill clean. ✔️ Make sure that all doors and windows are closed and that all lights are switched off. ✔️ Place the key back in the safe. 💚 Beija Rio was designed to provide moments of tranquillity, comfort, and a connection with nature.
