Ocean View With Deck & Hot Breakfast

Once a church, our cedar log lodge is perched on a knoll overlooking the ocean. The Great Room (once the worship room) of this magnificent building has vaulted 14” cedar ceilings and plenty of room to stretch out in four conversation nooks including one by the wood stove. Indigenous art hangs on our walls, and books of many variations grace our library. The lodge is the perfect place to take in the ocean, inhale the cedar aroma and loose yourself in the serene vibe of this place. The space This room features an ocean view, two queen sized beds, a mini-fridge, a microwave, private entrance and lots of elbow room. Outside is a private, covered deck. Guest access In addition to our private rooms with en suite bathrooms, all guests have access to the Great Room's four conversation nooks where they can peruse the library, cozy up by the fire and connect with fellow travelers. The only TV resides in the Great Room. During your stay Once you arrive, the resident manager will offer you a refreshment, review Cormorant Island's activities and attractions and give you the Wifi code and room key. You will also be asked to book a time for breakfast the next morning. Other things to note Our included breakfast menu offers four choices: 1. Traditional cooked breakfast - 2 eggs any style with bacon, sausage, hash browns and toast 2. Cheese omelet - 2 eggs with aged cheddar cheese and hash browns, toast and jam. 3. Steel cut oats with cinnamon, nuts, fruit and toast 4. Pancakes with fruit and maple syrup All served with your choice of coffee, tea or hot chocolate Coffee is available in the Great Room at 7:00 am as are the fixings for tea.
