The gentle surrounding waters are perfect for kayaking, and a dock is available to launch kayaks and canoes at high tide - or carry them down the path and set off from your private beach. Marina View is a spacious one-bedroom guest house with a king bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and a large living area with a vaulted ceiling. The living area and dining nook offer south and west water views. There is also a twin bed in the living room for an additional guest. Three and a half acres offers ample room for play and there is a large level lawn that is conducive to croquet or badminton. The guest cottage, while sharing the family's vacation compound, is designed with your privacy in mind. Landscaping provides a secure and private environment for both parties, even if the owner should also be in residence. Marina View is conveniently within walking distance of Deer Harbor Marina, a convenience market and post office. It's a great location, within a comfortable 20 minutes of the ferry landing and the amenities of Eastsound. It is also a wonderful vantage point for Deer Harbor fireworks if you are the lucky ones to book this cottage over the 4th of July!
