Description
This cute heritage cottage is the perfect place for the family or couples. Over two levels with a bedroom & bathroom on each level. Rear garden and front porch allows space and privacy if sharing with friends. An easy walk to Sydney Harbourfront, City ferry and bus terminal or train station, world class restaurants, cafes and local pubs. Two fabulous nature reserves. Pet friendly, but please no pets on the beds or sofas. No smoking. Air conditioning in the upstairs bedroom only and no parking. The space Historic circa 1868 cottage with a quaint little front porch to sit and read or relax. Two comfortable bedrooms and two bathrooms, great for couples wanting to share with one bedroom and bathroom upstairs providing separation and privacy. Large living room with TV that has Chromecast and sofas for relaxing, full well equiped kitchen with dishwasher adjoining a dining area flowing to a safe and enclosed rear garden. Laundry facilities with washing machine and dryer. Please only use one at a time or the power will trip from being overloaded. Pleasant decor and artworks enhance the area making it a real home away from home. Please be sure to remove any tanning lotions, greasy creams or oils prior to getting into bed. Please shower well and use the cotton wipes provided to remove tanning lotions or makeup, not the towels. These creams and lotions can mark, discolour and damage the linen irreparably and it is very expensive to replace and guests will be charged. 🥴 There is street Parking only. Passes can be supplied if available as these are limited in issue. Please check with me if I have enough for your visit. Uncontrolled spots near the house where you can park as long as you like are: Dumbarton St, close to house no’s 9 & 11; Union St in front of 34 & 36; Munro St opposite no. 2; West Crescent St near Blues Point near end of street - lots of free spaces; southern side of Warung St; centre of Henry Lawson Ave. The house has lovely parks, waterfronts and walks nearby as well as many wonderful areas to explore. It is close to all modes of transport and there are lots of pubs, café’s and first class restaurants for your enjoyment. There is a local supermarket a short walk from the house. A very pleasant lifestyle is to be found here. Guest access Guest has access to most all parts of the house. Please treat it respectfully. Other things to note The neighbours have small children and do not like a lot of unnecessary noise after 7.30 pm. Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the vicinity of the house. Best to use the lovely park at the end of the street if you can’t go without.
