Guests on the reservation have access to the entire cabin as well as our 32 beautiful acres for exploring. Other things to note A Signed Rental Agreement is Required: - Upon acceptance of your reservation, you will need to complete and return the signed rental agreement within 48 hours of us accepting your reservation to avoid potential cancellation. Connectivity: - Wi-Fi is provided for your convenience. While it's historically reliable, service interruptions, though rare, can occur. We're unable to guarantee uninterrupted internet service. Guest Limitations: - **The magic number for adult guests is 9, with a gracious allowance for up to twelve guests in total with children, ensuring comfort and quality of stay for all. Ages 13 and above are considered adult. - Little ones are welcome! We've got a Pack 'n Play and a high chair ready for our tiniest travelers. Packing Suggestions: - For hot tub enthusiasts, bring flip-flops. Hot tub towels are provided. Bath towels are not to be used outdoors. - Adventurers setting out to explore the property should gear up with hiking boots and long pants, or opt for tall rubber boots. Kids enjoying the creek will have a blast, but should have a change of clothes—they're bound to get a little wild and muddy! Booking Requirements: - A valid photo ID is necessary to book our rentals, including the Carpenter's Cabin, to ensure the security and trust of our hosting experience. You must be 25 to book our property. On-Site Security: - We've equipped our front deck with a security camera to verify guest count matches the reservation—this is to safeguard both our guests and the cabin. Unauthorized visitors, third-party bookings, and interference with the camera are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate eviction without a refund. House Rules and Conduct: - No events or parties are allowed. This includes bachelor and bachelorette parties. Tell-tale signs of prohibited celebrations may result in immediate removal from the property. - Nothing can be taped, tacked, or otherwise adhered to walls, trim, lighting, or ceilings. - For the health and safety of our guests and the preservation of our cabin's natural setting: no smoking, vaping, fireworks, sparklers, or weapons are permitted. No ATVs, dirt bikes, etc, allowed. - As much as we love furry friends, our cabin is a pet-free zone. Location Insights: - Embrace the seclusion: Our cabin provides a forest escape within reach of essential amenities like gas, groceries, and dining—it's 15 miles to the nearest big box stores. - If an urban adventure is what you seek, our woodland retreat might not be the best match. Safety and Damage Policy: - While we are child-friendly, our cabin isn't child-proof. We expect guardians to monitor their children for safety indoors and out. - Any breaches of our rules will result in a $350 charge for each violation, plus the cost of any damages.
