Your mountain adventures are just minutes away: 1 mile to the Mickelson Trail, 4 miles to Custer State Park, 8 miles to Crazy Horse, 13 miles to Jewel Cave, and 21 miles to Mount Rushmore. Plus, there’s an abundance of hiking, fishing, kayaking, and swimming just down the road! After a busy day of touring, get off the beaten path and come home to the comforts and tranquility of Needles Nest! Please note: Due to a short, steep hill on our gravel road, AWD is recommended if there’s ice/snow, and it’s not motorcycle-friendly.
