The Maison du Ballandreau is an 18th century residence, completely renovated, located in the heart of the village. Restaurants, shops, markets, services and entertainment are at the end of the street. Enjoy a peaceful enclosed garden, a large heated pool (from mid-April to mid-October), secured by a low wall (1.10 m high) and a beautiful covered terrace, 7 bedrooms and their independent bathrooms (air conditioning on the ground floor and 2nd floor). The space La Maison du Ballandreau is ideal for group vacations. Its configuration and location offer the conviviality of shared moments under the terrace, by the pool and in the quiet garden; the absolute comfort of spacious rooms, each equipped with its own bathroom (shower or bathtub) and toilet, and the independence of everyone's rhythms and activities thanks to its walking distance to all the shops in the village. It is a house with harmonious volumes and refined and elegant decoration. Its garden, embellished with a spacious swimming pool (12 m x 4 m) open all year round, heated from the sunny days (mid-April) and until autumn (mid-October), a large covered terrace of 35 m2 offers a green and peaceful decor in the heart of the bastide. After two years of work involving local artisans and traders, the house has regained its volumes and some remarkable interior decoration elements from the 17th and 18th centuries: corners, fireplaces, tiles, ceilings... The materials used have been chosen for their durable appearance and quality: Spanish marble, Gironde tiles, wood, lime paints... The furniture and the colors of the walls offer a soft, warm and consistent decoration with the past of the house. The house can accommodate 15 guests (14 beds and 1 scalable baby cot) and has four beautiful and harmonious living rooms on the ground floor as well as a kitchen and an air-conditioned bedroom that meets reduced mobility standards. On the first floor, 3 spacious bedrooms have been fitted out and equipped with 3 bathrooms (2 showers and a bathtub). On the 2nd floor, you have 3 additional bedrooms, air-conditioned and individually controlled, and 3 bathrooms (2 showers and 1 bathtub) and a baby bed. Each room in the house has an area of more than 20 m². The bedding is of quality, Epeda brand. The village of Monségur is a medieval bastide organized around a square whose hall hosts a market with delicious local products every Tuesday and Friday morning, as well as a gourmet market and dancing every Wednesday evening in the summer. Several restaurants, cafes and bars, a high quality pastry shop (finalist of the show "La Meilleure Boulangerie de France"), an Art and Essai cinema, art galleries, hairdressers, a convenience store, doctors, nurses offer a rich fabric of entertainment and services that you can enjoy within 5 minutes from the house. On foot also, you can take a very nice walk along the Dropt. Monségur is located in Entre-Deux-Mers with multiple assets: its hilly landscapes, its heritage (many bastides, abbeys, remarkable villages and castles), its wine routes, its gastronomy (several starred restaurants 30 minutes away)… Convenient access: • Bordeaux 1 hour by car; • Bordeaux airports 1 hour 10 minutes away; • Bergerac Airport 50 minutes away; • Paris 3 hours by train (arrival at La Réole station 15 minutes from Monségur by car). From the end of June to the beginning of September, bookings are made from Saturday to Saturday for a minimum of 7 nights. If you wish to celebrate an event of up to 70 people (baptisms, birthdays, engagements...) during your stay; please mention it when you request to book.
