Welcome to our wonderful sanctuary by the beautiful glacier river. Escape from your busy life, city, pandemic & the world stress. Surround yourself with wilderness, wild flowers, walk or hike in the forest, loud mountain river, wild birds, trout fishing & star gazing. We are only 10 min from the nearest town of Idaho Springs & glacier hike at 11k ft, 35 min from Loveland & A Basin, Red Rocks Amphitheater, 45 min from the Denver Downtown & 1 hour from DIA. The space We hope you don't mind hearing sound of the river in every corner of the house. The entire house is dedicated for the guests and features many luxurious amenities such as 2 living rooms, 2 dining areas, and fully equipped professional kitchen with double oven, gas stove, and the second kitchen area perfect for your bar or drink area. Spacious master bedroom with large ensuite 5 piece bathroom. You will step into the sunroom where we have seatings for your morning coffee or perfect spot for reading. The infrared sauna with bluetooth is located off of the sunroom. You will enjoy unique artwork collected by the owners, repurposed custom furniture made by the owner & their personal touches throughout. The two wood burning stoves will guarantee toasty and cozy nights during your stay (when fire ban is not in effect). We also provide complimentary hot coffee and tea. Smoking & 4/20 is allowed outside. The speedy and unlimited Starlink wifi is satellite will have you zooming for your conferences, streaming videos to cruising through social media. The cell phones will have a limited coverage at the property depending on your cell provider. As long as your WiFi calling is enabled, your cell will work just fine. Many adventures of hiking, biking, fishing, winter sport activities and bird watching will be available at the property or near the property. It's a great excuse to escape the technology & truly seek an adventure & relaxation. We have a basketball hoop and other outdoor games for your entertainment. Guest access You will have complete access to our backyard, small bridge over the river, backyard and driveway. We live nearby and might stop by for property care. We are friendly and love to meet with new people but also respect your privacy and relaxation. Other things to note We are located at 8600 ft so please keep yourself well hydrated & use oxygen cans if necessary . Bring your winter clothes or seasonal appropriate outfits & gears to fully enjoy our famous ever changing seasons. The Colorado’s secret is a lots of water, sun block and layers.
