Birdhaven is a delightful cottage situated on a quiet lane in the pretty village of Wenhaston, just a few miles from Southwold and the Suffolk Coast & Heaths. This charming self-catering cottage offers cosy accommodation with plenty of natural wonders and attractions nearby. It features lovely views of the surrounding picturesque meadows which offer wonderful sunsets. The cottage has a large garden and driveway offering private parking and the woodburner makes it an ideal cosy winter escape. The space Birdhaven has 3 bedrooms; namely a master ensuite located on the ground floor at the far end of the new extension which is great for accessibility plus two other twin rooms located upstairs in the old part of the cottage. In addition to the cosily furnished bedrooms, Birdhaven also offers its guests a seperate kitchen, dining room and lounge with a second lounge for reading with a ps4, board games and plenty of books and DVDs to enjoy at leisure. This room has a full clear view of the meadows and sunset which can also be enjoyed right outside on the patio whilst relaxing on the bespoke teak outdoor seating. Guest access If driving from A12 to Birdhaven, the best access is via Hazels Ln/Wenhaston Ln joining onto Halls Rd then Blyford Lane before approaching Low Road. There is also a well stocked shop nearby within Heathside Holiday Cottages located on Blackheath Rd, Wenhaston, Halesworth IP19 9EU. They have meat from local butchers and locally hand pressed apple juice and cider; beer, lager, wine, spirits and mixers plus a choice of fresh and frozen food.
