Sandpiper Cottage

Relax with your family and friends in this peaceful home away from home while exploring historic Port Albert. A comfy cottage with a wood heater in the living room and wood supplied. The fully fenced garden keeps your pets safe and a large shed can be used for cars or boats. Located in a beautiful, quiet neighbourhood perfect for a relaxed get away, with more active options including fishing, boating, kayaking, walking coastal tracks, cycling or artistic pursuits. The space The cottage has a comfy living room, full sized kitchen and dining room. The master bedroom has a queen bed, small sofa bed and closet. The second bedroom also has a queen bed with large closet. The third bedroom has 2 single bunk beds, each with a reading light. All bedrooms have a fan and portable heater. There are two single-size foam mattresses for additional guests. The bathroom has a sink and shower, and a separate toilet room also has a hand basin. The back hall has a nice desk to work on. The shed is massive and generally empty so available to store cars/boats etc while you stay. The house has a covered, wrap-around veranda on three sides. The large front hallway is great for storing gear and hanging coats up. Guest access You will have the whole house and garden to yourself. The garden is a good size with the full front garden fenced and the connecting side garden also fenced. Other things to note Fixing up this cottage is a passion project for me! I am making my way through the rooms one at a time. I visit as much as possible to work on it but like other people to enjoy it, and the gorgeous town of Port Albert, when I am not there. Overtime the rooms will all get updates so it may evolve if you come a few times!
