Local restaurant and bar within walking distance. Summer Rental: Included in rental are four kayaks with lifejackets, grill, firepit, dock, and beautiful sunsets! Area trails are suitable for hiking, biking, four wheeling. Winter Rental: area trails suitable for snowmobiles, cross country skiing and snowshoeing. Plenty of parking! The space You will have the entire cottage. We do have a contact in town if you need anything they will be available to assist you. We are within walking distance of the start of the Heritage Trail, a 47 mile trail connecting Republic with Marquette. Great for biking, four wheeling, snowmobile or walking. Guest access Our property is private river front on the Michigamme River. There is a place to park your car and snowmobile and a place to dock your boat. There is a public boat landing about 1.5 miles away. You will have access to the entire house. Other things to note There is a small Mini Market within walking distance. There is also a well stocked hardware store with some groceries in South Republic, about 5 miles away. Also within walking distance is a church, Pine Grove Bar and Summer Place Restaurant. Summer Place is a great family run restaurant with a great menu, however they do not take credit cards. Cash or check only.
