Near downtown & free CB bus - Studio The space Welcome to this cute little studio just off North Main Street, in a quiet alley spot a few blocks from downtown, a few blocks from WCU, and a few blocks from the free RTA bus stop and City Market/Walmart shopping area. Easily get around to all of the major Gunnison activities. This inviting little condo is perfect for the couple's getaway or the single person looking for a mountain town experience. Walk just a few blocks south to Gunnison's cute little downtown, or head north two blocks to the RTA bus stop, with free buses throughout the day to Crested Butte and Mt. Crested Butte. City Market and Walmart are also just a few blocks away. Park in the alley parking space or right in front on Main Street. There's also ample neighborhood parking nearby. No permits or parking meters! Guest access The property is located on the east side of the fifth block of Main Street, between Gothic Avenue and Ruby Avenue. The studio, the northern unit in the back house along the alley, can be accessed from Main Street or from the alley. Street parking in Gunnison is free and unpermitted. The most convenient parking for the Cozy Central Studio is on Main Street or in the alley parking between Main Street and Iowa Street. Please park only one vehicle in the alley parking. You may also park on Ruby Avenue just north of the studio. Please adhere to our strictly enforced NO SMOKING (Tobacco or Marijuana). Check-Out Time- 10:00 AM at the latest; unless a “guaranteed late check-out” was purchased in advance. The exterior door has a keypad lock. Please lock the door when you’re away from the studio and when you check out. Depending on the weather, you may need to pull the door toward you a bit to lock. To Unlock: Enter the code, then turn the lock clockwise to disengage the deadbolt. To Lock: Push the “Schlage” button, then turn the lock counterclockwise to engage the deadbolt. The interior door between the mud room and the studio apartment has an old-fashioned deadbolt that you can lock while you’re in. During colder months, you may prefer to keep this door open to allow the heat from the basement to travel up the stairs and into the studio. We also provide a space heater (see Other, below).
