Our cozy, yet bright & spacious retreat gives you all the amenities of modern living with the charm of a vintage lake house. Take out a kayak for a paddle from our dock, or hike Waramaug Trail, a short walk from the house to the trail head. Fantastic restaurants are nearby, or create a tasty meal in the fabulous kitchen and eat overlooking the lake. We 're close to many attractions & boarding schools. The space The 2,300 square foot house is spacious and airy, with open, well thought-out spaces, yet cozy with wood beams spanning the great room and warm Fir floors. Expansive lake views from almost every room. Cook in the well-appointed kitchen featuring a giant island, gas cooktop, and convection oven. Snuggle in with a book by the fireplace or play a game or watch tv from the den which can be fully closed off from the great room by pulling shut gorgeous pocket doors. There's also WIFI if you have to work or want to surf the internet. We have a wonderful deck and a patio space, both with fire pits and seating.
