Lakeview cottage at LaCasa resort on Okanagan lake

LaCasa Resort is a lakefront property. The pebble beach front has a waterpark, patio decks, and Marina. Our cottage is located on a quiet level street a 2 minute walk to the upper pool / hot tub. LaCasa offers tennis/pickle ball courts, mini golf, play ground, volleyball, marina, store and restaurant, 2nd pool and hot tubs. Lots of local trails to explore in the resort, behind on crown land and in nearby Fintry provincial park Amazing views of the lake and vineyards from our front deck. The space Air conditioned cottage with deluxe furnishings, stainless steel appliances and a fully equipped kitchen. Granite countertops, hardwood floors, comfortable, cozy leather sectional couch. Open upper loft bedroom with lake view, king bed, offers private bathroom and private television. Two bedrooms on the main floor with queen beds. (Memory foam flip out mattress available for a 7th or 8th guest, in each main floor bedrooms, best for kids under 12) Both bedrooms share the main floor bathroom and both have a sliding doors onto large private back patio. Each room has space for an infant travel crib (not supplied) Luxury bed linens and plenty of towels including beach and pool towels. 60" smart television wifi and cable, sign into your movie streaming app for family movie nights or choose from deluxe Telus services provided. LG front load washer and dryer, laundry soap supplied. The spacious front deck offers a Weber barbecue, patio table, umbrella and seating area with fantastic lake and vineyard views to enjoy. Or choose to relax on the large private quiet back deck, with rock garden landscaped turf grass area, great for young toddlers to play safely outside. Patio furniture and 2 umbrella’s shade you thru the hot summer days. Enjoy an afternoon nap, read a book, play mini bocce ball, monopoly, cards games, or Jenga. Star gazing extraordinaire at night. See who can count the most shooting stars! Take an afternoon and explore the local award winning wineries along West Kelowna’s wine trail or Kelowna’s downtown craft brewery/cider district. Many Kelowna golf courses are within 45 minutes of the resort. Golf carts for getting around the resort are available to rent at extra cost from a local provider, not included in cottage rental , best to pre book. Boat slips at marina are managed by the resort office when available to rent for an extra fee, for boats up to 23.5 ft. Guest access A private access code will be supplied the day of your arrival. Garage is not available for use. The person making the booking is required to be 25 years of age or older. Infants are accepted however no infant cribs, high chairs etc supplied. An extra fold out foam mattress is available for a small child within the 6 maximum people capacity , if children sharing a queen bed is challenging. Available upon request. Other things to note Save on Foods , West Kelowna location, will deliver your advance online grocery order for a minimal fee. Kitchen basics are supplied, includes Paper towels, tin foil, Saran Wrap, Salt/pepper, sugar, flour, select spices, coffee for arrival day. Strata bylaws quiet times are from 11pm to 7:00 am Pebble beach , best to use bring along water shoes. LaCasa resort is a Non smoking resort property. Cottage and decks are also non smoking premises. Our mailing address is considered Kelowna, but we are half an hour outside of the city of Kelowna and about 40 minutes outside of Vernon. The road to the resort is fairly windy, especially from the Kelowna side and can be narrow at times. There are no major grocery stores or gas stations on the way. A convenience store is located on the resort. The location is better for a "stay in/relax/get-a-way from the city" type of vacation, with the occasional trip in to town to the wineries/golf courses etc. Sorry, no pets (we can not guarantee there have been no pets, if you are sensitive to this or have allergies). The fireplace is for "decor" only and turned off. Glass front can get hot so for safety we ask that guests do not ignite or use the fireplace. Height clearance of deck does restrict larger vehicles or boats. Caution is required. Maximum bed sleeping accommodation is for 6 people, flexible to 8 - with 2 being under 12 years of age, toddler. Memory flip out foam mattresses on floor are an available option. Please request to arrange.
