The Bungalow on K'gari (Fraser Island)

The Bungalow is a quaint two bedroom cottage - perfect for 2 couples or a family. The entire house is yours to enjoy. Features include: a large undercover timber deck; an additional concreted BBQ area; fully screened louvers throughout to capture cooling sea breezes; self check in. A 4 wheel drive vehicle is necessary to access The Bungalow. Sheets/towels are not supplied but can be arranged at an additional cost of $33 for queen/double and $22 for single bed. Includes sheet sets and towels. The space The main bedroom has a queen sized bed with the second bedroom containing a double bunk bed and trundle underneath which fits snugly beside the double bed when rolled out. The trundle bed is suitable for a child. The combined kitchen/living area is fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, pots/pans, gas stove, large combination fridge/freezer and television/dvd player. A selection of games/DVD's is provided for your entertainment. The bathroom, toilet and laundry area adjoin the kitchen area. Guest access Guests have sole enjoyment of the entire house, veranda's and garden. The keys to the Bungalow are in a Lock Box, the code for which will be supplied upon booking confirmation. Other things to note Welcome to The Bungalow on beautiful Fraser Island. We are located at Second Valley Eurong on the Eastern beach. The Bungalow is a leisurely 200m stroll to the beach and only 400m to Eurong Village with hotel, resort bar, bakery and shop. The house is solar powered and as such, small electrical appliances such as phone chargers are permitted. Hair dryers and straighteners, toasters, portable fridges and coffee machines are not permitted due to their large power requirement. Our water is drinkable but limited so we ask that guests do not clean down vehicles with the house water supply as this will deplete the tanks. There is a car washing facility available at the rear of Eurong Resort for this purpose. Please note that bedding linen (sheets/pillow cases), bath mats and tea towels are not supplied and must be provided by guests – sleeping bags will not suffice for linen. However, if you require bedding linen and bath towels, these can be supplied at an additional cost. Please request a quote prior to confirming your booking if you wish for linen to be supplied. Pillows, pillow protectors, mattress protectors, doonas and extra blankets are provided.
