Leucadia beach house; pool, ocean view & walkable

Have fun with the whole family at this newly renovated 5BR beach house. Walk down to Historic 101 to explore local cafes and shops or go a little farther to downtown Encinitas. Several beaches are easily accessible for surfing, boogie boarding, and more. Enjoy the beautiful San Diego weather in our indoor/outdoor living space - particularly sunsets with views of the ocean from our deck. When you're not at the beach, take a dip in the pool, practice on our putting green or use the sauna. The space Make yourself comfortable in our open floor plan living / dining / kitchen area with La Cantina doors opening onto the 700 sq foot deck. Open the doors and let in the fresh ocean breeze. Choose whether or not you want to eat inside or outside on the covered deck (both dining tables comfortably seat 10). All new appliances in the kitchen including a separate beverage fridge and a special faucet with filtered chilled water, hot water (set to boiling), and sparkling water! The main level of the house also features: - Primary bedroom with a king bed , walk-in closet, ensuite bathroom with large shower, and french doors accessing the back deck. - Kids room with bunk bed (twin mattresses) and twin bed - Office / guest room with a pull out couch (full size mattress) - Full bath with shower/tub The lower level features: - Guest room with queen size bed, desk, and ensuite bathroom - LARGE guest room with TV, Murphy bed (queen size), peloton and other work out gear. - Full bathroom - Laundry room - Kids playroom full of toys , puzzles, and games (mostly for ages 5-12) Other amenities include: surfboards, boogie boards, beach towels, coolers, ping pong table, Bocce ball court (by the pool), Sonos speakers in the living room and on the deck, grill, wi-fi, smart TVs and more! Typical of houses near the ocean, we do not have AC but all bedrooms and the living room have ceiling fans. Guest access We will share additional information once your reservation is confirmed. Ample parking in the driveway or in front of the house. The main entrance is accessible through keyless entry; the code will be provided to you on the day of your arrival. Early check-ins and late check-outs? Just ask and we will do our best to accommodate your request! Other things to note Our home is child-friendly (our kids are 12, 10 and 7) but is not child-proofed. As noted above we do have a pool. Please be extra careful with young children or anyone who is not a strong swimmer - we do have alarms on the doors leading out to the pool that you can activate. We do not have any toddler / baby accessories on site. This is our primary residency - and is stocked with everything you may need for your stay. We only recently finished our renovation (Winter 2022). Thank you for treating it as your own home :)
