On a ridge at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, our home is situated in a peaceful, wooded setting with great views of the Olympic Mountains and surrounding forest. The house is ideal for couples, families or small groups with 3-bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The location is a wonderful base for adventure - only minutes to Lake Cushman, Lake Kokanee and Hoodsport, and close to many popular hiking trails (Staircase, Mt. Elinor, Big Creek, Lena Lake, Mt. Rose, Murhut Falls… just to name a few). The space On a quiet double lot, there's lots of room to play both inside and out and many options for entertainment even on a rainy day. - Sleeps up to eight people (1 king bed, 1 queen bed and 4 single beds (bunk style)). - High speed wireless internet. - 62-inch smart TV with streaming subscriptions (no cable or local TV stations). - DVD player with dozens of movies. - Board games, books and hiking guides. - Fully equipped kitchen. - All towels and bed linens are supplied. - Washer and dryer available for use. - Large propane BBQ grill - Ample parking for multiple cars and/or RV. - Electric vehicle and RV hook-ups. Guest access Includes entry pass to Lake Cushman and Kokanee Lake community parks and beaches. Lake Cushman 9-hole public golf course, driving range, clubhouse and tennis courts are less than a mile away. Ten miles from the Staircase entrance to the Olympic National Park, there's hiking available for all abilities. Situated on the Hood Canal, the quaint town of Hoodsport is only three miles away. There you will find a grocery store, a few dining options, wine tasting at the Hoodsport Winery, micro liquor tasting at the Hardware Distillery, and boutique shopping. And, for more dining and shopping options, Shelton is only 16 miles south of Hoodsport on 101. Other things to note Covered RV parking with power hookup. NEMA-TT-30 power outlet. Water connection to house via hose (bring your own or use our (garden quality). No sewage dump on premises; information on dump locations available upon request. Electric vehicle (EV) charging. Standard J-1772 connection delivering 6.6 KW / 30 AMP service. Or bring your own equipment with NEMA-14-50 plug or adapter, maximum 40 amp continuous draw. To ensure your best use of facilities, advance notification is required if you will be bringing an RV or EV.
