Luxurious Home near Sandbanks and Wineries

Situated on exclusive Sheba's Island only 10 minutes from Sandbanks, the West Lake Beach House sits on an acre of lush land and is a perfect setting for a relaxing getaway with family or friends. An open concept 4-season luxury bungalow with updated beach decor, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 desks, a large wrap-around deck, incredible views, a beautiful gym and fire pit. This is the perfect place to relax and make new memories. The space Our home is perfect for exploring local beaches, wineries, art shows and the amazing restaurants of Prince Edward County. While not directly on the water, our property is on a peninsula surrounded by West Lake and comes with water access across the street for swimming. The house contains three bedrooms, each with Queen beds. If more sleeping space is required, we have an air mattress that can be set up in the bedrooms or the living/family room. The master bedroom is large with an ensuite bathroom and a desk. The second bedroom is also very spacious with ample closet space and a desk. The third bedroom is slightly smaller but comfortable with considerable closet space. The main living area is open concept, with the family/living room, dining and kitchen all comprising one large space with an incredible abundance of windows and natural light. Our kitchen includes a Vitamix blender for smoothies, a Wok, a large selection of pots and pans and utensils as well as everything you need for a perfect cup of coffee - an instant coffee maker, a French press, a milk frother, a bean grinder and a complimentary supply of coffee beans. A Weber gas BBQ is available for your use on the patio. We offer a wide variety of entertainment and sports/recreation options for you and your guests. We have a small library of books, a large collection of board games (Scrabble, Sorry, Monopoly, Pictionary, Trivial Pursuit, Poker, Chess, Backgammon) and video games (Switch, Wii, PS4) as well as access to a selection of streaming channels on Apple TV (Netflix, Amazon Prime, TSN). The TV is connected to a brand new BOSE surround-sound speaker system that can also connect to your phone or laptop. The garage gym is newly renovated and contains everything you need for a serious workout as well as a wide variety of sporting equipment, including a boxing bag and gloves, frisbee, football, basketball, volleyball, Spikeball, ping-pong and badminton. Other outdoor games include bocci ball and horseshoe toss. Two paddle boards and a kayak are available for guest use. Please use the lifejackets provided. Three bikes are available for guest use. Westlake Wakeboard School is a 2 minute drive away and there you can rent all types of non-motorized watercraft as well as arrange waterskiing, wakeboarding and wake surfing lessons. You also have use of our park pass for visiting the nearby Sandbanks Provincial Park. There is a fire pit and burn permit if you want to make s'mores while enjoying the spectacular starlit sky. We are close to a number of outstanding restaurants and wineries, most of which are within 15-30 minutes from the cottage. West Lake Beach House is newly renovated and furnished to reflect our love of beach life. Bright and airy, surrounded by trees and glimpses of the lake, we love the sense of calmness and nature that we feel here. Bikes (which we provide) or a vehicle are necessary for exploring further afield.
