Our BIG BEAR HIDEAWAY is a cozy 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom cabin on a private, quiet cul-de-sac. This cabin backs to the national forest w/ lots of hiking & mountain biking trails right in your own backyard. During our white winters, those same trails provide FREE SLEDDING for your entire trip, without having to go pay at other sledding facilities. You can also relax on the deck while watching your kids sled right in front of the cabin. During our snow season, you may need 4 wheel drive and/or chains The space ABSOLUTELY NO ANIMALS ALLOWED This is due to the owner's children's severe allergies and asthma. Please respect owners' health and hazard conditions when renting this property since owners use the house often. If our security cameras discover that you brought an animal to the house, you will be charged an additional fee of $500, which will go to a deep cleaning of the house, carpet, and furniture and you will be required to leave the premises. During our snow season, you may need 4 wheel drive and/or chains Occupancy is for 11 guests, INFANTS AND CHILDREN COUNT TOWARDS THE OCCUPANCY LIMIT WHICH IS SET BASED ON OUR PERMIT. We will have to decline inquiries and reservations for groups exceeding 11 guests max. So, if a guest books for 11 and 1 infant this would exceed our occupancy maximum and the reservation will be declined. If guests arrive to the property with more than 11 guests, airbnb will be contacted, the reservation will be canceled, and guests will have to leave the property. Permits in Big Bear and code enforcement are strictly enforced by the sheriff's department and by the city of Big Bear. Any fines accrued by guests for exceeding occupancy limit, noise level, leaving trash out, parking on street...all fines will be billed to the guest. Big Bear does encounter periodic power outages. These power outages are out of our control. ***SECURITY CAMERAS*** The house is equipped with fully operational SECURITY CAMERAS which have MOTION LIGHTS on them, on the exterior of the house ONLY, and only record motion. The cameras are for the safety & security of the renters & property. Cameras capture the driveway, entryway, deck and side patio. There are ABSOLUTELY NO cameras in the house, nor do the cameras point into the house. ***Please DO NOT flush female products down the toilets.*** BBQ: A Propane BBQ is on the premises, however, the owner is not responsible for making sure it is full. If it is empty and you would like to use it, feel free to get it filled for your use. The propane can be filled at the DIY HARDWARE Store located on Big Bear Blvd. NO deep fryers are allowed on the wooden deck. NO Charcoal BBQs are allowed. FIREPITS take propane as well. Owner is not responsible for making sure they are full. DO NOT TAKE PROPANE TANKS. ANY MISSING PROPANE TANKS WILL INCUR A CHARGE OF $100 TO REPLACE ANY MISSING PROPANE TANKS. TRASH Make sure to place all trash in bags and inside the city trash bins with the lid completely closed to keep animals from getting to the trash. Take excess trash with you. To avoid an extra cleaning fee, DO NOT leave trash on the driveway, outside of the city trash bins. Please make sure to dispose of extra trash you generate, that does not fit in the city trash bin. 4 CARS MAXIMUM FOR PARKING Driveway fits 4 sedans or 3 large trucks/SUVs DISCLAIMER: ***HOME OWNERS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR: ANY INJURIES/DEATH, YOU/OCCUPANTS SUSTAIN DURING YOUR/THEIR STAY IN BIG BEAR OR AT/ON/IN OUR PROPERTY (I.E. TRIPS/FALLS ON FLOORS, STAIRS, DECK, DIRT, ROCKS, GRAVEL; BURNS, CUTS, SCRAPES, ETC.), DAMAGES TO YOUR PROPERTY OR LOSS OF YOUR PROPERTY THAT OCCUR DURING YOUR/THEIR STAY. BY ACCEPTING THE KEYS AND CONTINUING WITH YOUR/THEIR STAY, YOU AND YOUR OCCUPANTS ARE RELEASING THE HOMEOWNERS OF ANY LIABILITIES LISTED ABOVE. THE RESIDENCE IS NOT CHILD PROOF THEREFORE CHILDREN AND THEIR ACTIONS ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF PARENTS/GUARDIANS/CARETAKERS.*** ***PLEASE KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR CHILDREN AT ALL TIMES*** By proceeding with the reservations, you are agreeing to the terms and any additional charges addressed which are addressed in this property description.
