Located in Aspères, a small village nestled between vineyards, olive trees and scrubland a few km from Sommières, our 190 m2 house is an old barn renovated in a modern style where stone, wood and iron mingle. The spacious living area opens directly onto the pool and the cocooning garden lined with honeysuckle and laurel. The peaceful and charming atmosphere that reigns there will make you spend sweet and friendly moments with family or friends in all seasons. The space The house is our permanent residence. It will provide you with all the necessary comforts you will need during your stay. It is spread over 2 floors with the ground floor of 90 m2 and the sleeping area just above. On the ground floor, the kitchen below opens with a few steps on the spacious living room/living area. In the kitchen you will find everything you need to cook good dishes. Dishes, cooking utensils, blender etc... are at your disposal. A small desk area will accommodate a computer, a writer, a draftsman or just a bag placed on the fly when returning from a walk. Eclectic furniture and decor atmosphere where industrial, countryside, vintage and family style mingle. Aerial staircase mixing IPN iron and wood to access the sleeping area. This staircase is equipped with a handrail on one side and is partly open on the other. 3 bedrooms with 160 x 200 beds await you: The first is at the top of the stairs, from the second you will open your window to the garden, the pool. The third, at the end of the hallway, is located next to the small Rue du Mas Haut. It is the master bedroom (25 m2) with unusual charm, old farm floor, bath area with its authentic and comfortable enameled steel bathtub. You can access it by going down a few steps. The second bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower, a sink placed on an old piece of furniture and a toilet. That's it for the sleeping area. Now let's go outside. Direct access to the garden and its swimming pool through the large sliding glass window of the living space. The 8m x 4m swimming pool has a depth of 1m50 and a salt treatment. The pergola houses a comfortable square table for your summer meals and breakfasts. Plancha, BBQ, garden furniture and deckchairs complete the outdoor furniture. The open shed on the garden and facing the house allows you to park 1 vehicle, a motorcycle and bicycles. We provide bed linen and towels, just bring your pool towels. - until the end of May 2025 €250/night 3 days minimum - June 1 to July 6, 2025 €280/night 3 days minimum - July 6 to August 31, 2025 €320/night 1 week minimum - Sept. €280/night 2025 3 nights minimum Check-in from 4 p.m. Check-out 10:30 a.m. English spoken for safety reasons, due to the direct proximity of the pool, we do not accept stays with young children. ps: Our cat named "Gunther" will stay at the house during your stay. He spends his nights outside and just needs to be refueled with kibble and cuddles. 😻 Guest access Apart from the 4th bedroom that we keep to store our belongings when we make room for guests, the house is fully available Other things to note Our house is located in a village. Out of respect for our neighbors, we count on you not to make noise late. This is not a place to party, but rather to enjoy and rest. The house has 2 entrances. Depending on whether you are walking back from a walk or by car, you will arrive through the kitchen door on the side of Rue du Mas Haut, or through the shed that overlooks the garden facing the house To locate us geographically, Aspères is 4 km from Sommières, a small medieval city with crazy charm with its pedestrian streets and small shops, the market and flea market every Saturday, the banks of the Vidourle where it is good to stroll in all seasons. Ideally located 25 km from Montpellier and Nimes, between Camargue and Cévennes. For walkers, just steps away from the house, discover the trails of the Bois de Paris as well as many other nearby routes. Want to go to the sea? The beaches are not far away: among others, the Grand Travers in La Grande Motte is 35 minutes away, and Espiguette, a beautiful wild beach preserved in Camargue, is 50 minutes away. 1 hour drive to discover the Etang de Thau for unusual tastings of oysters or other shellfish at the producers. Our village is also home to winemakers where you can taste and delight your taste buds. Please note that for safety reasons our house is not suitable for young children due to immediate access to the pool. Our cat named "Gunther" will stay at the house during your stay. He spends his nights outside and just needs to be refueled with kibble and cuddles. 😻
