Accommodation: The front door opens into a small entrance hall with space for coats and boots and leads to a cosy lounge with a brick fireplace and open fire, a sofa and two armchairs, and a TV with DVD. Steps down from the lounge lead to the very well-equipped kitchen-diner, with a tiled floor, oven, hob and extractor, integrated fridge-freezer, microwave, and dining area. A door from the kitchen opens into the conservatory with an additional dining area and views over the garden and river. The conservatory also houses the washer-dryer. A narrow, twisting staircase from the sitting room takes you up to the two bedrooms and a bathroom. The en-suite master bedroom has fantastic views of the river and features an iron bedstead. There is a small adjoining dressing room. The second bedroom has twin iron beds and a feature fireplace. The family bathroom has a bath with an overhead shower. There's also a small WC at the bottom of the stairs. There's electric heating and an open fire. One basket of logs is provided between October and the end of April. Outside: The garden at the rear features well-tended flowerbeds, a lawn and lovely views of the river. A paved area with garden furniture lets you to make the most of this picturesque setting. Parking: There is no private parking at the cottage, but you can pull up outside to unload, and there are a few unrestricted spaces just along the road and ample free unrestricted parking around the corner on Riverside Road. Nearby: The village pub, The Red Lion, is a 2-minute walk up the road. The Red Lion also hosts the village shop and post office. A 10-minute walk will take you to The Quay where you will find the Ferry Boat Inn and The Anchorstone Cafe, as well as ferries to Greenway and Dartmouth. Guest access The whole house and garden.
