The space El Ablanu is an independent rural apartment, located on the ground floor, ideal for a romantic getaway as a couple in Santa María, Proaza, Asturias. It is in a privileged environment, surrounded by mountains and forests, within the Natural Park of Las Ubiñas-La Mesa, Biosphere Reserve, and very close to the Senda del Oso. The apartment is 45 m² and has a bedroom with private jacuzzi, living room-kitchen with fireplace, sofa, 40”TV with HDMI and USB, full bathroom with hairdryer, independent heating and a private terrace with BBQ and garden furniture. The kitchen is equipped with two-burner hob, microwave with grill, Italian coffee maker, toaster, blender, low counter fridge with small freezer, basic utensils, dishes, cutlery, iron and clothesline. Linens and towels are included. From the bedroom you can enjoy beautiful views of the central Asturian massif, perfect for waking up without rushing and disconnecting from the daily rhythm. In the surroundings you can take hiking trails, tour the Senda del Oso by bike, visit charming villages, enjoy Asturian gastronomy or discover places such as the Desfiladero de las Xanas, Cueva Huerta, Parque de la Prehistoria, the Marabio and San Lorenzo Ports or the Hayedo de Montegrande. Wood is not included. You can bring your own or request a wood-burning basket with an additional fee. A cozy place to rest, enjoy nature and live a few special days in Asturias. Guest access The rental is full, which means it will be exclusively for you. The use of the jacuzzi and the terrace is completely private. Pets are allowed, but we ask that you ask previously. There is an additional charge of €15 per pet and stay. We also offer a wood basket for an additional fee of 8€, although it is allowed to bring your own wood. However, there are also those who, for various reasons, need to stay connected. Before you decide to book, there are four important aspects to consider. Consider whether any of these points could be an inconvenience for you: Location in a rural area: You will be in a rural area, surrounded by mountains, ideal for disconnecting. There are no shops or bars in the village. The nearest services are a 6-minute drive away in San Martín de Teverga. It is important to note that the road to the accommodation is 1.5 km paved, narrow and with curves, in the middle of the mountain. It may seem like a remote place, but the beauty of the road and the tranquility of the surroundings will make you feel at home. Enjoy the scenery and peace! Satellite Internet: Being in a mountain area, we do not have access to ADSL or fiber optics. We have a satellite connection, which, although sufficient to surf the internet, read emails and use messaging applications, does not have the same speed that you may be used to in cities. Internet use is limited to a specific amount of data. If you exceed this limit, the speed is reduced (to 256Kbps), but it still works. Please note that using the connection for data-intensive activities such as downloading movies, watching videos, or images is not allowed. To watch movies, the TV has HDMI and USB connection. If you find that the connection is too slow, let me know and I'll see if it's possible to get more data. Telephone coverage: Being in a rural area, coverage for making calls is limited. However, we have wifi so you can communicate through messaging applications. It's common for some guests to go looking for coverage, but most people relax and enjoy the disconnection. If you need to make a call, San Martín de Teverga is just a 6-minute drive away. Authentic rural environment: The house is located in a small village with very few inhabitants, in which an authentic rural environment is maintained, where livestock work is still carried out (cattle, horses, sheep, pigs and poultry). Sometimes, in the morning, you can wake up to the sound of the rooster crowing. It is essential for us that you have this information in advance and that you feel comfortable during your stay.
