The stunning town with its lively harbour, gorgeous shops, quaint streets, cookery schools, art galleries & abundant restaurants is truly a Cornish gem. There is a glorious beach that is in walking distance too & a ferry to Rock, allowing access to Polzeath . There are 1 cat, please be aware in case anyone has allergies.. The space Trethvor House is a detached property in a quiet residential area with a FREE PARKING (One space with each room) on the driveway of the property . Room 1 (Main Bedroom) Bright white & duck egg blue double room (for 1 or 2 guests). Comfortable double bed Beautiful fully tiled en-suite with shower & heated towel rail. Room 2 (Second Bedroom) Bright white & duck egg blue double room (for 1 or 2 guests). Comfortable double bed Beautiful fully tiled bathroom with large bath, overbath shower & heated towel rail. Both rooms comes with • Hairdryer • Iron & Board • Mini Fridge • Tea/Coffee making facilities with fresh milk • Welcome Drink & Snack on night of arrival • Toiletries provided. Shampoo, Conditioner and Shower Gel. • Central Heating Radiator with adjustable thermostat • Phone Charger • Toothbrush Charger • WIFI – BT Fibre 150mb • Extra blankets are available on request • A beach bag is available for your use, it contains two beach towels and a picnic blanket. This property is let on a ROOM ONLY basis. Breakfast is NOT included. There is no access to any other areas of the house only the bedroom. There are numerous wonderful eateries in town where guests can have breakfast, with Cherry Trees & Greens being firm favourites. SOUTH WEST COASTAL PATH The town in very popular with tourists and with access to the South West Coastal Path there are plenty of keen walkers visiting. There are numerous walks directly from the property to the breath-taking Stepper Point & onwards to the gorgeous beach of Trevone & the Trevose headland. Buses are available to take you further afield and to walk back if you don't want a circular walk. Bodmin Moor is also close by which also offers wonderful walking. BEACHES Seven Bays for Seven Days - The beautiful beaches of Harlyn Bay, Constantine, Porthcothan , Boobys Bay, Trevone and Treyarnon are close by too. Polzeath and Daymer Bay and Rock are opposite and are reached by a quick ferry ride over. CAMEL TRAIL The property is within walking distance of the popular Camel Bike Trail (a disused railway) where you can cycle from Padstow to Bodmin via Wadebridge. Bikes can be hired at Padstow Bike Hire (book early). If you have your own bike you can store it in the garage but there is no insurance and we take no responsibility for the bikes if they are damaged or stolen or the door is not locked. Please see the GUIDEBOOK for more information on what is there is to see and do locally OTHER CORNISH ATTRACTIONS FURTHER AFIELD There are numerous beaches and wonderful little towns to explore Port Issac (where Doc Martin was filmed) – 40 mins Eden Project - 30 mins Newquay – 30 mins Perranporth – 40 mins Mevagissey – 50 mins Tintagle – 50 mins St Ives - 1 hr Mousehole – 1hr St Michaels Mount – 1 hr Falmouth- 1hr St Mawes -1 hr Lizard Peninsular 1.5 hrs WINE TOURS There are plenty of wineries that are worth visiting. If you don’t want to drive why not book a tour where you will be picked up and dropped off from Padstow Smoking/Vaping is not allowed on any part of the premises. CHRISTMAS IN PADSTOW Padstow looks so pretty in December with twinkling lights and a beautiful Christmas tree, theres a lovely atmosphere in the restaurants and all of the cute shops. It is a great time to visit. Padstow Christmas Festival is a wonderful 4 day event hosted by local chefs where you can see numerous cookery demonstration by Rick Stein, Paul Ainsworth and many more. There is a wonderful food tent packed with lots of local delicacies and a craft tent featuring local artists too. Theres usually a charity Santa fun run / bike ride , fireworks and numerous special events. It is the best time to visit. See the official website for more information. Guest access Please note that there are two steps up to the front door of the property & there are stairs up to the bedroom which is located on the first floor. There is free parking on the driveway of the house for 2 normal family size cars Cars with trailers, camper vans, large trucks, vans, motorhomes etc are NOT allowed - Parking is available in the local car park (at customers own expense) There is a steep hill coming back from town. Other things to note There are two cats, one is shy but the other one is very friendly & will definitely come to say hello. Please take your shoes off when you go upstairs. All damages must be paid for. Please ensure you have Travel Insurance. All guests must have their identify verified by Airbnb for booking to be accepted. Garage is available for wet walking gear, storage of push bikes and body boards - We do not have insurance for guests possessions so all items are left at your own risk. We take no responsibility for any item left whether it is damaged & stolen.
