This beautiful 1BR/1BA apartment is the [A: front, B: back] half of a duplex set in a residential neighborhood. 14 minutes from FLL airport. Best location, right in the middle of the beach, Las Olas Blvd, Sawgrass Mills Mall, and Wilton Drive. Many restaurants nearby. Walk a few blocks to Milk Money, the very trendy local coffee shop. Sunrise Blvd is two short blocks away for fast access to the beach, the airport, Wilton Manors, and Miami. There is a large grocery (Publix) two blocks away. The space IMPORTANT: the city is going to inspect on Dec 20th, 2024 at 11am. It will only take 5 minutes, but the inspector will need to go inside to check the smoke detectors. If you book over that period, you give permission for my property manager and the inspector to go in even if you are not present. The kitchen is fully equipped for real cooking with sharp knives and a full set of pots, pans, and dishes. 4K SmartTV, log on to your Netflix/HBO/etc account Wifi: high speed AT&T internet, more than sufficient for video calls. Coffee: Keurig coffee maker. We provide 4 pods to get you started. Babies: every unit has a crib, and a highchair is available on request. Beach gear: we provide beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, and a cooler. Private washer and dryer inside the apartment. There is free, off-street parking right in front of the property. This is an old apartment. It was built with lots of wood, it is surrounded by flowers and bushes, and it has had many experiences. If you have these conditions, it probably won’t be the right choice for you. -This is an old house and the unit is on the ground floor. Bugs are a constant battle in Florida. You may encounter some during your stay. We exterminate using traps, bait, sprays, and fumigation. There is bug spray on the top shelf in the kitchen cabinet furthest from the sink. If you need us to come and exterminate, we can send someone Monday through Saturday (Sundays are more difficult). -We clean ovens about every 90 days. For most guests heating the oven to 325F (160C) is enough to sterilize it after the previous guest. -All of our TVs (in all units) are 4K Smart TVs (mostly Samsung). They have apps preinstalled for Netflix, HBO, etc, and you can sign on to your own streaming accounts. We do not, however, have cable. Local channels are very limited. -We provide a Keurig coffee maker and four coffee pods to get you started on the first morning -We no longer provide a drip (filter) coffee maker
