Holiday Home Pieve a Socana
Holiday Home Pieve a Socana
Description
Stone house with over 200 years of history, in the heart of a real Tuscan village. Spacious and welcoming, ideal for families or groups: multiple bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and spaces to spend time together. The interiors retain their original character. Outside, an authentic village with grocery shop, bar, and church at its heart. This isn’t tourism, it’s real life, with quiet hills, slow rhythms, and time to share. The space Our house sits right at the entrance to the village, in a stone building over 200 years old. It was originally built as the parsonage of the Pieve, the beautiful Romanesque church that still anchors the village, and has been in the Zavagli and Dini families since the late 1800s. From its windows you can see the Catenaia Alps to the east, Poggio Maggio to the north, and the Pieve itself to the south. Thanks to its thick stone walls and centuries-old construction, the house stays naturally cool even on the hottest summer days. Guest access The house is entirely at the guests' disposal. Developed on two floors with two flights of stairs. Other things to note Pieve a Socana is a village of Etruscan origin, located just a few kilometers from Arezzo and in the heart of the Foreste Casentinesi National Park. Life here is authentic: neighbors who truly know each other, a bar where an aperitif on summer evenings becomes something magical, two grocery stores stocked with everything you need, and children playing in the square in front of the church until late.
