It has a big tree with squirrels. Just up the street is the Shelby Dog Park. We do ask that pets be crated when left alone in the home. Within walking distance is the Shelby Bottoms Greenway and Nature Park. It is one of the true jewels of Metro’s Park and Greenway system. This 810 acre park offers 5 miles of paved multi-use trails and another 5 miles of primitive hiking trails. Along the trails, visitors can enjoy boardwalks, scenic overlooks, interpretive stations and seven rustic bridges. The area is well known as a haven for migrating birds and other wildlife and a new nature center is under development to be located near the railroad trestle trailhead at Shelby Bottoms. Our homes are professionally cleaned and maintained and will be ready when you arrive. You will be provided with the lock code with your reservation confirmation along the home’s address and other vital information. This is a private home and you will have unlimited private access with your personalized access code. Once you have arrived you can use the backyard carport or the off street driveway along the side of the house. We are just a phone call away, but otherwise we are your “invisible innkeepers”. Most guests have a pretty good idea what they are coming to town for, but we can provide all kinds of additional ideas as you put together your itinerary. Our home is in a strictly residential neighborhood bordering the Shelby Park area. This location is very convenient to all of the East Nashville hot spots. The downtown Lower Broadway honky tonk scene is 1.5 miles away. Opryland, home to the Grand ole Opry, and the rest of middle Tennessee are close by. East Nashville continues to reinvent itself. I hate the word “Hipster”, but when the shoe fits... Our best advise if you drive your own car and want to go downtown: Park on the east side of the Shelby Bridge if available and walk over the beautiful bridge into the Downtown District.
