Soak in the ocean views, bathe under stars and feel the sand between your toes. This 60's surf shack, is the perfect place to relax. A short walk to two beaches, surf or calm. With an outdoor bath, decks for sunset drinks, and comfy beds, the shack is perfect for relaxing. This quiet beach town is a great base to explore the region. Not far from Hobart or the airport and a 1hr drive to must see attractions MONA (47km), Port Arthur Historic site (58 km) and Maria Island Ferry (74 km). The space Enjoy the views through the bifold kitchen windows onto a great entertaining area. Multiple elevated decks, great aspect for watching the sunset over the ocean. The sunsets here are spectacular, with one of the best views from the private outdoor bath! A great place to make a base whilst enjoying some of the local beaches or taking day trips to the nearby must see sights and activities such as the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA), Port Arthur, Three Capes Track, Maria Island and many more. Three bedrooms - Bedroom one - 1 x queen beds, bedroom two - 1 x Queen, bedroom three - 2 x single beds. All with electric blankets and plenty of extra blankets. Master bedroom has an en suite and walk through robe. These are located up a small set (appx 5 steps) from the living areas. Property is dog friendly with a fully fenced secure area outside. Free wifi included along with smart TV and streaming channels. Guest access You are booking the entire house. The house entry is at the car park level, there is an internal staircase that takes you up to the living and dining area. The bedrooms are up a further small staircase. The driveway is quite steep, but fairly short. There is space to park at the bottom of the drive for those that prefer it. There is a carport for smaller cars. There are plenty of great outdoor living areas though including a large paved flat area (great for kids bikes/skateboards), undercover bbq patio and two large decks. There is a locked storeroom downstairs and one locked cupboard in the kitchen that is not accessable for guests. Other things to note For your protection and our property, we have placed monitoring cameras facing the parking area. This does not look onto any private outdoor space. You need to be comfortable using stairs to access the property, it may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. Porta cot is available (stored above the master bedroom wardrobe should you need it).
