The Lodge on the Marsh

The Lodge is the only bed and breakfast on the Brading Marshes Nature Reserve. The Lodge is a quiet and peaceful place to stay. There is a beautiful garden to enjoy and wonderful views of the marshes and the downs. It is a bird watchers paradise, with also regular red squirrel visits. There are footpaths in all directions to enjoy. The Lodge has a double bedroom, shower and sitting room with a kitchenette. We leave a continental breakfast for you to enjoy. The space The Lodge has a lovely sunny veranda on which to enjoy your breakfast and the view. Inside there are two rooms: a sitting room with kitchenette (sink, kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge), a double bedroom and shower room. The bed is king size. There is a camp bed for the occasional extra guest or child (extra charge). There is a smart tv, wifi, fridge, microwave, toaster, sink and kettle. Dogs welcome. Guest access We have plenty of parking in our large drive. Alternatively there is a bus stop at the end of the lane, about a ten minute walk. There is an excellent bus network across the Island. You can buy a cheaper multi pass. There is also a regular train service to Brading Station from Ryde, ten minute walk to the Lodge. Other things to note The Lodge is situated on the edge of a nature reserve and has wonderful dark skies at night. There is no street lighting, so please bring a torch if you want to walk anywhere at night.
