Brightly lit sitting room with electric fireplace off farmhouse kitchen and dining area. Bedrooms are all in separate areas of the house: - Ensuite master bedroom with king bed, sitting area, and french doors to deck. - Downstairs "Steinbeck Suite"/queen bedroom with attached bathroom and cozy sitting room that may be used as a fourth small bedroom. Access to screened in porch on this level. - Upstairs "Crow's Nest"/ duo-twin bedroom with great views of the property and the woods. TV/DVD with good selection of movies (sorry no cable) and Wifi. Roaring River State Park is 17 miles away and offers great trout fishing and family picnicking. Springfield is just over an hour away and is the home of Bass Pro, Wonders of Wildlife National Museum & Aquarium, and multiple cultural and musical activities year round. Guest access Guests will have access to the house and the property around it. A 400 sq ft art studio/meeting room is available for family or business gatherings, by arrangement.
