Description

Casa Larriz is a beautiful stone house typical of the central area of Navarra documents from the 15th century. Casa rural Larriz has a accommodation capacity for up to 16 people. It consists of 7 rooms and 4 full bathrooms. The common areas are a large kitchen and large living-dining room of almost 80 m2 with a fireplace that provides a warm atmosphere where the evenings are more cozy. The space Casa Larriz has seven very different double rooms between them. Each one has its own story and a lot of excitement when it comes to decorating them. The kitchen: Located in the old kitchen of the house, the nerve center of old life. We wanted to respect its structure, accompanied by a decoration with its own motifs. Provencal: After restoring an old doomed closet to the bonfire and giving it a second life, it now occupies an important place, recovering its death. To do the headboard, we wanted something very special, and what better to focus our attention on one of the beams that had to be replaced. We cut it into planks, brushed it and sanded it, joined them in the form of the cereal field, just before the mowing, rocked by the wind. El Mirador What to say about Mirador! His name is already a statement of intentions, two windows that open to a dream landscape. In the background, slender, the Pyrenees that at times seem to be a stone's throw away, closer, we find the green mountains with its small villages and trails among the forests. The Bell Tower: Your privileged view of the bell tower of our small Romanesque plant church, where sunrises fill the sky with colors and silhouettes, give it a pleasant feeling of peace and quiet. Decorated with a 13th century Mudejar board at Tudela's museum. The Ark: On the wall, as a headboard, we will find the remains of an ancient and simple ark where the most valuable belongings of the home were kept. There, among cobblestones and embroidered linens, several articles like the one we have displayed in the first floor lobby appeared. This way we have brought back to life a wood that he did so well in his time. The Chapel From the beginning we knew that those two boards from the church, prior to the last restoration and declared in the detour of the house to die under a layer of dust, were going to be a highlight in the decor of our home. Covered with several layers of paint, it was not possible to keep their original golds, but they themselves gave us undefined colors among their watermarks. The other great secret of this room is its nice honey smell. Where will it come from? Las Lavandas Grandma Sagrarito had a special predilection for lavender, which she picked up in full bloom to place in the drawers next to the freshly laundered clothes. The window faces south, to the barley and wheat fields, sometimes sunflower, where this aromatic flower grows. Guest access This confinement has given us the opportunity to make a garden of 280 square meters and a wooden terrace of 35 square meters where you can enjoy meals and dinners outdoors.
