The cabin is located at Skiing Hill at Terry Peak (21193 High Ridge Trail). It is at the end of the cul de sac and borders the National Forest. In a rustic but elegant lodge like this it is easy to relax and enjoy nature in all of its full glory. If you enjoy rugged but comfortable elegance, luxury and stunning view to the Southern Hills and Wyoming, enjoy skiing, hiking, biking, gambling, fishing, golfing or Four wheeling this Lodge is place for your vacation in the Northern Black Hills. The cabin is located at Terry Peak (21193 High Ridge Trail) and has a gorgeous 30 mile view into Wyoming and the Northern Hills. It is at the end of the cul de sac and borders the National Forest. The cabin is located on Terry Peak and is 0.5 miles from the Ski lift Parking Lot, is 5 min way from Lead, about 12 min away from Deadwood with great gambling, great restaurants and live music shows in the Mountain Grand. It about 25 min to Sturgis and about 55 min to Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Sylvan Lake, Custer State Park and Needles Highway. In a lodge like this it is easy to relax and enjoy nature in all of its fall glory. This home has been meticulously crafted with the finest materials: granite counter-tops, field stone accents and hand-sawn logs to name a few. These details include the masonry work which used the local field stone, the log siding which was milled in Piedmont, and hardwood floors which were reclaimed from an old barn, the Dakota mahogany granite counter-tops were quarried in Milbank, SD. The custom made pine furniture was crafted by a local furniture maker in Piedmont, SD. Some of the artwork, was obtained from the Rosebud, Pine Ridge and the Cheyenne River Indian Reservations. This Lodge has 3 queen beds, 1 king, 3 bunk beds, a crib and toddler bed. It is located only 1/2 mile from the ski lifts and has a biker friendly well maintained road in the development. This Lodge has to offer: 5 Bedrooms, 3.5 Bathrooms, 3000 Sq. Ft, Sleeps 14 people, A/C,, Gas Range,Wet Bar, Wine Chiller, Grill, Double Garage, Hot Tub ,32" & 42" Flat Screen TVs, wireless Internet access, outside fir pit, X box, Foosball table, Dart Board, Horseshoes The highlight after returning from a four wheel or bike trip, a day on the slopes, bicycle or hiking is coming home to enjoy our fabulous wood burning fireplaces which provide a warm, rustic cabin ambiance, while the kids play games, and sip hot chocolate. We especially enjoy the hot tub on winter evenings where we can enjoy a glass of wine, and appreciate the incredible view. This cabin provides rustic charm combined with all the amenities of a modern home including satellite music/tv and high speed wireless Internet which allows us to check in with the office if necessary. The double garage provides space and protection for your vehicle(s) and motorcycles and ski equipment. Coming home and starting a great cozy wood fire in the cabin or a gas fire in outdoor fire pit, open a bottle of wine and sitting outside to enjoy the sun set. Simply the best!" Our guests have the entire cabin and property for themselves. The land below the cabin "flows" into the pristine National Forest of the Black Hills. Winter travel in the Black Hills In the winter months please inquire about flexible check in and out times without additional fees. If you are staying in the higher elevations, please be aware condtions are much different in these elevations than it is even in Rapid City or even Deadwood. 4WD is always recommended for traveling to the Black Hills higher elevations in the winter months.
